From what to connect the hood in the bathroom?

Semyon asks:

Good day. In general, I have the following situation: they bought an apartment, in the bathroom in the exhaust duct there is a wiring for connecting the exhaust fan, three wires, but there is no current on them. What I did not do and the exhaust fan I bought and connected - no, and I dismantled the switches for the bathroom in the hope that there will be separate wires for turning on the hood - no, and stripped those wires - no, I looked at the panel on any separate switches or switches - No. Most likely, it seems to me, the matter may be that during the wiring, this cable was simply not connected, or it was damaged during the installation of lamps in the bathroom, and this it would be solvable - if it were not for the fact that now everything is covered with ceiling panels and I would not want to disassemble the ceiling, especially since this is not yet 100% that the problem is this.

But there should be a hood, there are even wires, but for some reason there is no current on them, well, yomayo!

Please help, either somehow according to the current situation with these wires or some other option with connecting the hood to the bathroom. The only thing that comes to my mind is to run the cable over the tile, close it with a cable runner and plug it into the outlet, putting the breaker to turn on when it is required, but you must admit that it would not be as aesthetically pleasing as possible to lead the cable run over the tile and then start it in ventilation shaft... That is why I am here too - you are knowledgeable people, professionals, maybe you know how it was possible to mount all this or some decision to make. Thanks in advance!

Hello! Alternatively, if the lamp is not far from the hood, connect it from it. The fan will work only when the light is on, so that when the light is on, the fan can be turned off - lower from it to a small switch such as those used on table lamps, there are also exhaust fans with their own switch.

In any case, you will have to disassemble the ceiling or part of it. What kind of ceiling is it made? You can also check if there is access and what is happening in the junction boxes closest to the bathrooms. I cannot give an exact answer to the rest of the questions "why there is no current in the wires", because it is unrealistic. By the way, if the lamp is recessed into the ceiling - try to remove it, what if these wires pass through the lamp? If there are 3 wires, then it is quite possible ...

What is cablegone? Cable channel? I agree that it would not be aesthetically pleasing, but also to drive the cable into the ventilation ducts.
