When designing a table for a dacha, it is necessary to prepare the lumber in three dimensions:

  • Carrying frame - section 38 X 90 mm.
  • Table top - section 38 X 140 mm.
  • Supporting slats - cross section 19 x 64 mm.

When deciding how to make a garden wooden table, approach the question responsibly, as this will determine the life of the furniture:

  • purchase of blanks. Professionals advise buying lumber from coniferous trees, which was previously well dried. Its main advantages are:

    • price;
    • simplicity and ease of manual processing;
    • beautiful structure;
  • adhesive for furniture;
  • 4 x 65 mm screws;
  • 3 mm drill bit;
  • drill;
  • tape measure, pencil, sandpaper for grinding.
  1. Next Steps

Step 1. Next we start preparing the workpieces, preliminary grinding each part, leveling the surface and removing the burrs.

We will need:

  • two upper transverse beams, dimensions 38 X 90 X 978 mm;
  • four legs for a summer table with their own hands, size 38 X 90 X 695 mm;
  • two strings - 38 X 90 X 921 mm;
  • one longitudinal lower and one upper beam - 38 X 90 X 1575 mm and 38 X 90 X 1473 mm respectively;
  • two pieces of braces on 38 X 90 X 772 mm;
  • worktops for worktops - seven pieces, size 38 X 90 X 2337 mm;
  • six supporting bars - 19 X 64 X 432 mm.

Stage 2. The legs of our summer table should be attached to the cross beams and the whole structure should be fastened with screws. To each connection there are two screws.

Table-10

Diagonally fasten the string to the foot on the inside, in the same way fastening the structure with two screws.

The lower beam must be connected to each other with both strings. As already mentioned above, using screws.

Table-11

Further in the upper longitudinal and transverse beams, first the holes are made for the fastening product called the dowel, after which we again diagonally connect the blanks of our country wooden table with the existing screws.

We put the braces on the screws.

Make sure that the angles formed by the connected bars are straight. To protect the assembled table base from rotting under the influence of rainwater, place it on small holders of scraps of 2.5 × 10 cm boards.

Table-39
