• The surface is peeled, primed with acrylic paint or PVA glue and dried.
• The pattern shown on the napkin is carefully cut along the contour. Two extra layers of paper without an image are removed, only one thin layer remains.
• The carved pattern is carefully applied to the door surface, a layer of glue is applied on it with a brush.
• The decoration is fixed with varnish for wood.

Stained glass window

The door can find individual features if it is decorated with stained-glass windows. You can simply buy these glass inserts, or you can do it yourself, which is much more interesting.

For example, you can use the technique of drawing stained glass with paints. The sequence is as follows:

1. Glass clean and degrease.
2. Stained glass paint transfer the contours of the picture on horizontally reinforced glass. It is more convenient to do this if the picture itself is fixed to the back of the glass.
3. Full drying will take three days. Then you can color the remaining fragments and again allow them to dry.
4. Apply another contour that will give the picture clarity and hide minor flaws.
5. After another three days, apply a protective varnish and allow to dry for about a week.
6. Insert the finished stained glass into the door leaf.

All these methods of "resuscitation" of doors are simple in execution, inexpensive and interesting.
