The excess is cut with a knife and a metal spatula. The next sheet is applied end-to-end to the previous one. Joints are thoroughly greased and ironed.

Holes for sockets and switches are cut after gluing the canvas. To do this, remove the plastic case from the devices, de-energize them, and at the end of gluing, install them in place.
