Teplex

Teplex is an innovative building material, the main purpose of which is to provide heat insulation. In other words, telex can be characterized as extruded foamed polystyrene. Its production technology involves the use of an extrusion process, by molding the expanded polystyrene pellets when a high temperature is reached and adding a foaming agent. As a rule, its role is played by a mixture of light freons and carbon dioxide.

What is a thermo?

Thermal insulator, as in the photo, is made in the form of plates, the structure of which consists of cells of 0.1-0.2 mm closed type. The thickness of the plates varies from 20 to 100 mm, which makes it possible to use insulating material in various branches of the industrial sector and civil engineering.

The fastening system is based on the use of the "spike-groove" design. This connection technology provides the most dense docking, preventing moisture penetration and cold penetration. The relief exterior surface of the material ensures excellent adhesion to the wall and does not require additional preparatory work before applying the plaster, which saves money on consumable building material.

Depending on the engineering-geological conditions of use, the insulation is divided into two categories: Teplice 35 and Teplice 45, which differ in the degree of strength.

The significantly smaller thickness of the thermal insulation of the façade system allows it to occupy a competitive position in the market and provide reliable indicators for reducing heating costs. Its small specific weight will not increase the load on the foundation, facilitating the overall construction of the building.

The strength and durability of the telex is explained by the comparative parameters: thermal insulation boards are twice as strong as polystyrene and up to five times more resistant to the use of mineral wool. With regard to durability, mineral wool guarantees 25-30 years of service, polystyrene 20-25, when the telex perfectly maintains its properties over a 50-year service life.

Fire resistance and frost resistance of the material is ensured by a wide temperature range of its use: from -50 to +75 C.

Teplex is chemically resistant slabs that are not susceptible to biodegradation, rotting or damage caused by the actions of rodents. They exclude the formation of mold and fungus.

Due to the fact that the material is made on the basis of a non-toxic blowing agent, it is environmentally friendly and absolutely safe for human health.

Technical characteristics of telex

  • density from 28 to 45 kg / m3;
  • compressive strength 0,3-0,5 MPa;
  • water absorption is not more than 0.2% for 24 hours, 0.4% for 30 days;
  • vapor permeability 0.015 mg /( m · h · Pa);
  • fire resistance of group G1, G4.

Today, the facade heat system is the most popular in civil engineering, since it has high energy efficiency indicators. Among other things, heat insulation boards are an ideal option for warming facades under plaster, which does not require the use of additional preparatory work before painting. This allows you to significantly save on the budget of construction works. Unlike the foam plastic, the telex does not crumble, it has high coefficients of thermal conductivity and strength.
