How to install a toilet bowl correctly

Preparation of

Before you change the toilet yourself, you will need to carry out preparatory activities. First, you need to determine how the new device will be connected to the sewer. There are three versions of the cuff:

• Corrugated - this way of connecting is the most economical. However, with this method, the installation can not be made close to the sewer pipe.

• Disconnect the piping;
• Drain the contents of the barrel;

It is not right to tighten the screws at the same time. First you need to lightly bait, and to assess whether the installation has been made exactly. If not, then align, substituting under it plastic pads. Only after this you can tighten.

It is recommended to put a gasket between the bowl and the cask. That the gasket did not move, it is better to paste it with a sealant.

• The final moment of self-assembly of the toilet bowl is the connection of the piping.

When the piping is connected, do not rush to turn on the water. First you need to check for damage to all components of the structure visually. And only with the confidence that everything looks normal, you can open the water, collect a tank and try to wash it off. If there are leaks, they need to be eliminated.
