5 ideas for assembling a New Year's garland

Idea # 1 - In the case of a 220 volt lamp!

We bring to your attention the first and most interesting workshop that demonstrates how to make an electric garland with 220 V lamps. So, first prepare the following tools and materials( all that is shown in the photo):

You need to stop a bit on the wire. It should take 6 meters. For example, twisted pair was taken, but you can use a two-wire wire or two single-core wires. The advantage of a twisted pair is that it makes the electrogarlands beautiful and festive, which is very important for the New Year.

We begin the assembly by cutting the conductor into 9 pieces of 50 centimeters and the remaining piece, which will be 150 cm long.

After that, we clean the ends, for which it is best to use a special tool to remove the insulation from the wires. To prevent the fabric braid from getting wet, we recommend to burn it, and then put heat shrinkage on the edge of the insulation.

After that, you need to assemble an electric fork of a homemade New Year's garland, which will not be difficult even for an inexperienced electrician. To connect the plug, take the length of the wire that is 150 cm long.

Unscrew the cartridges and proceed to the connection of the 10 incandescent bulbs. It is better to use a parallel connection of lamps when making an electric garland at 220 volts. In this case, if one light bulb burns, the rest will shine brightly too.

When all the cartridges are assembled into one chain, it remains only to screw in the lamps and light the finished electrogarlands. By this step-by-step instruction you can make yourself a garland on the Christmas tree at home! As you can see, everything is quite simple and at the same time interesting!

By the way, you can also use a serial connection of light bulbs. Only in this case it is necessary to use incandescent lamps, the total voltage of which will be 220 V, for example: 20 pieces of 12 volts or 40 to 6.

Idea # 2 - Upgrade the old electroland

If you just do not like what was shining on the Christmas tree last year, you can decorate the electric garland in an original way using ordinary paper cups made from coffee. Make a beautiful New Year's product is quite simple. First, prepare glasses, scissors, glue, scotch tape and scrapbooking paper.

After this, cut and unfold one of the cups, which will become a template for cutting out the decorative wrapper. Cut out the blanks, glue them on the glasses, using glue or double-sided scotch.

After that, in the day of homemade lampshades, cut out the place for the light bulbs and insert them there, fixing the outside with a thin strip of tape.

That's all - the electrogarlands are ready! In this way, you can make an LED or ordinary garland on a New Year tree more elegant and festive!

Idea # 3 - LEDs into action!

The third way, to collect an electric garland for the New Year with your own hands - use LEDs at 12 volts. First, prepare the light bulbs, the wire, the 12v power supply, the resistor, the soldering iron, the knife and the sealant.

If you decide to make an LED garland of 12 volts, first calculate the step of setting the LEDs. It is recommended to place them every 20 cm. On the wire, make notes and strip these places for about 10-15 mm to connect the diodes.

Next on bare wires, apply rosin and drip solder. To learn how to solder the wires, you can use our corresponding instructions. After that, solder the LEDs to the wires, and for better fixing the bulbs, wrap them with thin strips of tape and fill with sealant.

Idea # 4 - We use the old keyboard!

By analogy with the previous method, you can make a diode garland with your own hands, using an unnecessary keyboard. As you know, some keys are illuminated with diodes of 5 volts( for example, Caps Loсk).If you have a disabled keypad, disassemble it and carefully dismantle the bulbs from which you can collect a simple elektrogirljadu. Next, select suitable resistors and a USB cable that will be used to connect. Diode garland circuit is the following:

Soldering the legs of the diodes( anode and cathode) is necessary to the black and red wires of the electric cord, in accordance with the color marking. When everything is ready, insulate the exposed contacts and proceed to testing the homemade garland. In our case, the homemade will be powered by 220 volts through the charger, which will just give out at the output of 5 volts.

Idea number 5 - How to decorate the street?

If you want to make a street garland on garden diodes, we recommend using this master class. First, prepare all listed materials:

• multi-colored diodes, diameter 10 mm;
• lithium 3-volt batteries;
• thin tape;
• magnets, with a diameter of 13 mm and a thickness of 30 mm;
• epoxy adhesive.

Next, you need to fix the legs of the diodes to the battery with the help of glue. The anode( long leg) is attached to the positive pole, and the cathode, respectively, to the side with the sign "-".When the glue seizes, additionally wrap the luminous diode with a battery of adhesive tape.

To the positive terminal of the lithium battery, attach the magnet and also wrap it several times with tape. Do this with 10-20 light bulbs, then fix them in convenient places on the street, for example, on the facade of the house. Thus, it is possible to assemble the street electroland from 5-volt diodes.
