From the materials for connecting the electric flow-through water heater to the mains and the water supply, be sure to prepare a FSM tape suitable for RCD amperage, a copper three-core wire of suitable cross-section or a grounded outlet, a tee for metal-plastic pipes of suitable diameter and a hose in a metal sheath( may not be needed).

Step 2 - Attach the housing to the

wall It's all simple - choose the suitable place for installing an electric flow-through water heater and drill the holes for fixing it. Usually in the kit are either brackets, or special loops. The only, but very important condition - the device must be fixed perfectly smoothly in all planes. Even a small misalignment can cause the TEN to fail( the heating element will not be completely covered with water and will burn through time).

Most often, flow-through water heaters that are powered by electricity are installed in the kitchen( for washing dishes) or in the bathroom( for bathing).In the first case, because of the small dimensions of the device, it can be installed under the sink, and in the second case - under the sink, which will also save you free space. In any case, you can not do without drilling, so prepare the right drill - for concrete for tiles or for wood for fixing on a wooden wall.

Step 3 - Connecting to the electrical network

Connecting the electric flow-through water heater to the network with your own hands is not difficult. You need to remove the protective shield yourself and plug all three wires into the terminal block, as shown in the photo. Be sure to observe the color coding of the wires and, according to the designation, connect all the wires to the correct connectors.

Installation should be carried out if there is no ground connection in the room. You are dealing with a dangerous connection: water + electricity. The slightest leakage of current can be the last for you, if you do not plan to connect the ground wire. In addition, it is necessary to additionally protect the unit by connecting it through an RCD, which, in fact, works when a leakage current is detected. You must connect the RCDs on the switchboard so that it controls the entire line going to your instantaneous water heater.

Step 4 - Connecting to the water supply system

It's no less simple - there are two holes at the outlet of the housing. The first is necessary for connecting cold water, the second - for the output of hot water. It is not difficult to connect hoses, where it is more important to correctly determine the point of "washing".

If you decide to install an electric running water heater for a while in the bathroom, it is better to connect it to the shower hose( in the shower) by simply fixing the pipe to the mixer, as shown in the photo.

If you want to use a device for constant water heating, connect directly to the water pipes, through the tee with the stopcock and the hose in the metal braid. In this case, it will be possible to cover the water for the time of repair, so that replacing the spare parts would be convenient.

We draw your attention to the fact that it is absolutely necessary to connect the shower attachment that comes with the heater to the hot water outlet from the heater. The fact is that this nozzle has special thin nozzles that do not hinder the heating of water. If you choose your own nozzle with large nozzles, the water flow can increase and the water heater will not be able to do its job.

Well, the last thing I would like to say is - correctly operate the device. Many who installed this type of water heater, after a time complained about its failure, referring to the poor quality of the product. In fact, the problem is not in the quality of the purchase, but in the carelessness of the person who uses it. The problem is that even in the instruction there is a recommendation for the use of the heater - when disconnecting it is first necessary to turn off the device itself and then water. And vice versa - when you turn on, you first open the cold water, and then connect the equipment to the network. With this operation, the probability that the heater will burn will be reduced to a minimum.
