Preparatory work for
The drawings are the first thing you will need when creating a computer table. You can take ready-made drawings, or make your own, suitable for the size of your room.

First of all, decide on the appearance and functional elements of the computer desk: do you need drawers, drawers, holders for things, etc.

When installing boxes, pay special attention to the corners: they must be straight so that the drawers of the table easily slide out and slide inward. Spread the PVA sockets, and then you can install the dowels.
Then it is necessary to cover the side edges with the edge band so that it lies flat, you need to walk through the tape with a preheated iron.
But before that, put a sheet of paper on top of it, otherwise the surface may become blistered.
If you see that the tape has turned out wide, and oversteps, cut off the edge with scissors, but do it carefully so as not to damage the coating.
To allow the shelf to move easily along the guides, it is necessary to glue wooden slats on its outer and inner sides, the size of which coincides with the part.

The table top is the last component of the computer table. Before you begin installing it, you need to make a markup on the chipboard, noting the places where the table top will be attached to the pedestals.
In these places, you need to drill blind holes, pre-installed a limiter that will allow you to control the depth of the hole.
The curbstones are installed on the countertop so that the holes are pointing upwards. They will be connected by stiffening ribs, which will make the construction as stable as possible.
Here, too, wires will be placed, which will make the computer desk more convenient to use. As supporting elements, it is also possible to use the parts of the tubing that will become the support.
The next steps on the pedestals need to fix the plinths, after turning the structure and install the hinges on which the side door will hold.
It is necessary to fasten the structure with ties, so that it can be easily disassembled and mobile - if desired, you can easily move the table to another location.
It is best to make a monitor stand on the countertop: first, make a frame( small wooden round bars fit it) and fix it with glue and dowels.
You can purchase a ready-made stand by fixing it with self-tapping screws.
The final step is the processing of the table from the chipboard. It is best to cover the surface with varnish, but you can also paint in the color you need, so that the furniture matches the general style of your room.
If you decide to paint the structure, first treat it with a primer. After the application of the coating( varnish or paint), a chipboard table can be used after 2-3 days, when the coating dries.
The computer table-transformer is made in the same way as usual tables, the material is also suitable for conventional chipboard, but there is room for creativity: for example, a transformer table can be made with a turntable, or it can grow in size, and then you can use it not just asa place to install a computer, but also a full-fledged canvas for the reception of guests.
To do this, you can make the monitor stand removable, or completely abandon it.
Another unusual and popular option is to hide the computer table-transformer in a false cabinet, which you can also assemble yourself.
This is very convenient for small apartments, because in this way you save a lot of space.
