At the same time, an organic foam foam block does not have this classification, it is safer and more durable, has a more homogeneous structure, better grips in the mortar with solutions, but more expensive.
Based on the above, foam blocks can have different density and can be used as heat-insulating or structural, easily processed materials.
In addition, if we consider ready-made foam blocks, the sizes of each on average exceed the volume of a dozen standard bricks, repeatedly increase the speed of the work. The shortcomings of the blocks include the need for their external and internal insulation of wall and facing materials.
Why is the house made of foam blocks worthy of our attention?
Many small construction companies, brigades and even individual private developers are successfully using the advantages of building from foam blocks, using the usual tools and techniques of work.
Beginning with the fact that the cost of materials is lower, the total weight of the house allows you to save significantly on the construction of foundations, and the result is not inferior to buildings from traditional bricks. And here the described advantages are affected: the overall dimensions of the blocks make it easier and faster to lay the masonry, do not require high qualification of workers, and, accordingly, reduce the volume and cost of such works.
