What do the types of bicrosts mean? Let's turn to the construction data:
- XPP - the standard type of bicrost. Its manufacturing takes place in several stages: the bitumen layer is attached to the fiberglass and a protective polyethylene film is applied to it. HPP is inherently a lower layer of roofing.
- HKP - its main content is fiberglass. Features similar to HPP.It has a layer of bitumen and polyethylene. The top layer consists of a granulate( possibly shallow shale), which is a reliable protective coating against harmful sunlight.
- TKP - the main component of fiberglass. The lower tier is represented by a polyethylene layer, the upper layer is a granulate or a shale powder. TCH is used as an upper level for inversion roofs.
- CCI - mostly consists of a fiberglass fabric. Its defining function is to serve as the lower tier of the roof in cooperation with the HKP, TKP.CCI has a polyethylene sheath.
Bikrost can have a polyester base. This species is extremely rare.
Standard bikrost stacking technology

Bikrost is placed on roofs with hot bitumen, using a gas burner. Put bitumen from the bottom up.
