- Large and heavy tiles - such a covering is laid with glue containing the reinforced crumb, which will save it from sliding off the surfaces;
- Floor tiles - needs an elastic composition due to heavy loads.

Thus, the porous cement surface absorbs more glue than the concrete slab, and the porous unglazed slab is larger than the glazed slab. In hot weather, there is a strong evaporation of the liquid from the glue, so it is necessary to apply it more than required at normal temperature. Many people believe that the best glue for tiles is one that is made independently. This mixture is made of sand and cement. Cement acts as an astringent, and sand is a filler. They should have a uniform composition and contain no impurities. Note! The sand should be fine, the maximum size of grains of sand - no more than two millimeters.
Cement and sand are taken in the ratio of one to three. The measure is volume, not weight. The mixture is kneaded on water, but before that it is thoroughly mixed. The finished mixture in density should be like sour cream. The solution is not used immediately, but when it starts to solidify.
This mixture is the best tile adhesive for indoor and outdoor use. It is laid on concrete, brick, plaster, plaster and other surfaces. If the cement mixture for any reason is not suitable for work, then in the store you can buy a ready-made elastic paste.
