In other cases, the reason for this decision is the desire to fantasize and create something exclusive, but most often the materials are combined to simplify the construction process.

Other differences in arbors include the shape and type of construction. They are rectangular, hexagonal, octagonal;by type are divided into open and closed. The roof of the pergola is also mounted in different versions: it can be single-pitched, gable, pyramidal or polyhedral.

For example, a construction of 5.4 x 3 meters with a gable roof. The construction process consists of the following stages: the marking of the plot, the preparation of the base, the installation of bearing supports, the manufacture of the strapping, the assembly and installation of the roof, the installation of the floor, the finish.

First, prepare everything you need:

  • profile pipe 40x40 mm and 40x20 mm;
  • electrodes with a cross section of 3 mm;
  • welding machine;
  • Bulgarian;
  • hand drill;
  • building level;
  • measuring tape;
  • bituminous mixture;
  • primer;
  • grit;
  • wooden pegs;
  • sledgehammer;
  • concrete, sand and crushed stone.

The site allocated for the gazebo, clear and remove the turf. Determine one of the corners of the building, drive a peg into the ground, then from it measure the length and width of the arbor, pull the string between the pegs. In the resulting rectangle, diagonals are measured - if they are equal, the corners are labeled correctly. The width of the rectangle is 3 m, length - 5,4.The short sides divide in half and fix the beacons;one of the long sides, which will be the back wall of the gazebo, is divided into three equal segments of 1.8 m. The remaining side is also marked: from the corners retreat at 2.2 m and pegs are also driven in.

Pits in the depth of 0.5 m are digging pegs in the place of pegs. It is most convenient to use a hand drill, then the ground around the support remains dense and stable. You should get 10 identical in depth and diameter holes.

supports The profiled pipe 40x40 mm is cut by a bulgarian into 10 pieces of 3 meters long. Each stance is coated with a third bit of liquid bitumen and dried. After that, the pipes are lowered by the processed side into the pits, leveled and hammered with a sledge hammer to a depth of 80-90 cm. Verify again the verticality and fill the pits: first with a layer of sand, and then with a layer of crushed stone. From above pour concrete solution, pierce it in several places with a metal rod or shovel, so that extra air is released, and the surface is leveled.

Step 4. Assembling the

strapping You need 6 pieces of pipe 40x40 mm 3 m long and 4 pipes 40x20 mm at 5.4 m. The binding should be fixed around the perimeter of the structure at a height of 0.8-0,9 m from the ground and along the upper edge of the bearing supports. Since the supports have the same height, the piping pipes are simply laid from above and welded. To fix the lower belt of the strapping, mark one of the poles with the marker at the desired height, and then use the level to transfer it to all other racks. After this, the pipes are applied to the marks and welded. In the end, the top bandage is reinforced with two more transverse pipes and proceeds to assemble the roof.

Step 5. Making the roof

The roof frame consists of a base, transverse bridges and ramps. For its production, a profile pipe of 20x40 mm is required. The pipe is cut according to the measurements: 3 pieces of 5.4 m, 4 pieces of 3 m and 8 pieces of 2 m. Weld the rectangle according to the size of the arbor, then 2 lengths of 2 m are applied to the corners from the short side and join each other so that the lower ends extend 5 cm beyond the edge of the frame. In the same way, weld the remaining 6 pieces and strengthen them on the roof frame at regular intervals. Above the trusses reinforce the longitudinal pipe, from the bottom - two transverse.

To install the structure on the poles an assistant will be needed. The roof frame is raised and gently placed on top of the harness. After leveling, the frame is welded at the corners and at 4 points along the perimeter of the gazebo. Now you need to clean up the welding places, primer and paint the whole structure.

Step 6. Floor installation

The floor in the gazebo will be paved with paving slab. This is the most convenient and simple option, but you can use other, for example, concrete screed or wooden floor. So, the turf layer has already been removed when marking, so now you need to carefully align and compact the soil. Be sure to check the site level, if necessary, pour the ground or remove excess. After that, the area is covered with sand or screening;the height of the layer should not exceed 10 cm. It is necessary to make a gradient of several degrees, which will not allow rainwater to accumulate on the floor of the gazebo.

Pave the tiles on the perimeter of the future floor and install curbs, then lay the tiles on the sand, punch them with a rubber mallet to make the seams as tight as possible and check the level. When all the fragments are laid, the floor is covered with fine sifted sand and a broom spread it at the seams. Then the remains of sand are swept away, and the tiles are well moistened with water. To do this, it is better to use a sprayer, since strong jets can wash the sand.

Roof can be made of slate, polycarbonate, corrugated board and other suitable materials. The roofing sheet is trimmed to the size of the ramp, laid on top of the frame and screwed with self-tapping screws for metal. The skate is mounted on top, end plates are attached.

The gazebo can be left completely open, but if you close it on the sides with low walls, it will be much cozier. You can fix polycarbonate from the outside, install openwork gratings between the floor and the harness, wooden shields, waterproof plywood - all that fantasy dictates. Inside the gazebo are mounted benches and a comfortable table, if necessary, electricity is supplied.

By similar technology, they build gazebos made of wood and bricks: mark a platform, install or lay out bearing supports, mount the roof. Only the basement differs, because it is better to pour a monolithic or strip foundation for a brick pavilion, and a columnar one is more suitable for a wooden gazebo.
