Warm water is supplied through steel pipes that are capable of withstanding heavy loads when the pressure of the liquid increases, and aluminum structures are installed on top of these pipes, which have a higher heat transfer. Thus, the positive qualities of both materials are used and their negative properties are avoided.

Industry produces bimetallic radiators of two kinds:

  • pseudo-metal - have an aluminum frame, with inside steel tubes not connected to the casing;
  • is completely bimetallic - the inner iron frame is poured on top with an aluminum base. Such radiators are more durable and reliable, however, and their price is higher.
