For this, you need to prepare the tools that you might need. It is necessary to prepare gypsum cardboard, pencil, screws, jigsaw, nails, rail, arcs, vertical guides
First you need to calculate the doorway for the arch. Above the door, the height of the future arched opening is marked, to which another 5 cm is added, after which it is possible to proceed to the selection of material for the arch.
For the arch, wood, expanded polystyrene, plasterboard can come up. The last material today is most often used for internal repairs.

After all materials have been purchased, and the working mixtures have been prepared, you can proceed directly to work on the opening.
Before you decorate the doorway, you need to carefully measure the dimensions of the horizontal guide.
This includes the width of the opening and the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the horizontal guide.
The received data is transferred to a sheet of drywall. The radius of the arch in this case will be equal to the width of the opening.
In this case, a rake with a nail at the end can act as a circulator. With its help on the gypsum cardboard the circumference of the arch is carried out.
Then cut the arch from the hypocarton with a jigsaw. In the same way the second arch of hypocarcone is made.
After this, the prepared arch constructions are mounted on horizontal and vertical guides using self-tapping screws.
After installing the arch, you can proceed to the arrangement of slopes.
For this, you need to take a guide profile, attach it to the inside of the sheet along the circumscribed circle. The same operations are performed on the other side of the arch.
To obtain the correct opening, make sure that all the guides along the circumference coincide.

After this half the arches are connected with a small section of the profile. It is inserted into the guides.
After this, the creation of the arch can be considered almost finished. Now it remains to do the puttying and painting works.
It must be remembered that the angles of slopes need to be trimmed with arched corners. This will protect the arch from damage.
