It is an important element for the further transfer of water into the drainage system. It is attached to the end of the vertical pipe and serves to drain water from the system.

The first step is to figure out how to calculate the drainage system. At the initial stage, you need to determine the diameter and number of basic elements, which directly depends on the roof area( per 100 m2 - 1 drain pipe) and its slope, while achieving an even distribution of water throughout the system. After this, you can determine the number of funnels, for each pipe only one is required.
Gutters are three- and four-meter. The required amount is calculated in accordance with the perimeter of the roof, and according to the data obtained, the need for connectors is calculated( 1 piece per 2 troughs), hooks( 1 piece per 60 cm length) and plugs( for each end system).This calculation of the drainage system , especially its slope, directly depends on the length and number of turns of the system.
Clamps for fastening and elbows also need to calculate their number, which depends on the number of pipe joints and drains( 1pc per riser), respectively, and the clamps should be installed from each other at a distance of 180 cm. Here, the calculation of the gutteralmost finished.

The next stage is the preparation of a gutter of the required length. The cut must be done by a hacksaw, and the cleaning of the edges by a file. Its segments are connected by locks, the design of which involves applying a special formulation to seal joints. The distance from the connection point to the bracket should exceed 10 cm.
The plugs are then mounted by gluing their inner part with an adhesive strip of five millimeters thick. At the same time, it is necessary to observe a distance of 2.5 cm from the plug to the side of the roof. Next, in the places where plums are to be found, the funnels are cut in, taking into account the calculated distance between the pipes.
And it is from these points and the suspension of the gutters begins on the brackets, after which its joints must be closed by couplings, and the turns are mounted on the marks.

The connection of the segments is done by a coupling, and the fastener to the wall after 150 cm - with a clamp, with the use of dowels and screws, without glue, with the gap from the wall to the drain being no more than 8 cm.
If necessary, the tees are installed as described above. Further, the branch is glued at a distance of at least 30 cm from the ground. The lower part of the drain can be cut to the level of the wall to give aesthetic design.
