Mounting metal sizing can be done with your own hands.

The assembly instruction and technology is quite simple.

It is enough to follow the scheme step by step, clearly perform the necessary actions and after installation your house will look expensive and soundly.

The most common installation is the siding Block House, Log and Shipboard.

Metallosiding is available in the form of cladding panels. They include alloy steel and decorative polymers.

Composition of the material

The metal siding panel includes:

1. Stamped galvanized steel for a base with a thickness of about 0.7 mm;
2. Special coating, providing antioxidant protection and protecting against corrosion;
3. Primer;
4. Protection in the form of a polymer and decorative coating( produced as artificial colors, and natural, repeating the appearance of stones or wood, for example Block House);
5. A layer of lacquer applied over the protection and creating a matt or glossy effect.

This material is quite common in construction.

The Block House blocks and Logs are mainly used as finishing of facade parts in commercial and industrial buildings, and the panels of the Shipboard usually decorate a private house.

Types of panels

• If, after purchasing any siding, the installation is not carried out immediately, then it is necessary to ensure certain conditions for the storage of the material. You can not put something heavy on the material, and also wet it;
• In-store specialists themselves, they can cut material. But many buyers after buying cut the material themselves, using a jigsaw for metal or a saber saw. Cut always on the side with perforation for self-tapping screws;
• Do not use a corner grinder for trimming. The heated disc destroys the polymer and protective layers, which subsequently leads to corrosion;
• On the sites of metal production companies there is not only advertising in video clips, but also special online calculators, with which you can calculate the amount of necessary material;
• Do not forget that you also need to buy a set of additional elements to the panels( take it better in the same place as the material itself).

Standard finishing( complementary) kits consist of:

1. Starting and finishing laths;

Mounting of metal siding

For an example of installation we take a horizontal facing of a siding. Shipboard:

1. If there is a socle, then the installation of the metal sauna is started by installing a socle tide. From above on it on the horizontal line we put the starting bar;
2. Next, we take a set of additional elements( use voluminous connecting, end and corner slats) and install them in turn in an upright position;
3. Siding panels The shipboard is inserted into the grooves on top, we lower them down to the limit. The first lower panel is fixed after it is fixed with the help of the starting bar. We fix it with self-tapping screws with pressers 16 to 4.2 in vertical guides along the length of the upper edge;
4. Similarly fix the other siding panels, constantly measuring the accuracy of the horizontal during installation and while checking the coupling of the panels together. The length of the panel should be calculated in such a way that its ends can not reach the stop in the near-window lath, in the outer and inner corner by 8-10 mm;
5. If there are windows on the decorated wall, we reach the beginning of the window opening and do the fastening of the panel. If the length of the panel is above the base of the opening, then its top is cut to the width of the window with the addition of 8-10 mm on the sides and in the depth, to create a gradient of the window outflow;
6. After we proceed to mount the frame of the window opening. Let's start with creating a window tilt with the angle of inclination from the window. The tide should be wider than the window opening itself by about 50-60 mm on each side. The edge in the window ebb is bent upwards across the entire width from the outer side of the metal siding. After doing the installation of side sloping strips and at the end we mount the upper bar;
7. Be sure to check if the profile of the window skin is well fitted, and if the falling water does not get inside;
8. A similar technology for installing panels and around doorways.

Mounting of metal siding The shipboard is finished by framing the upper edges of the cladding.

The whole installation is carried out exclusively from the bottom up.

At installation it is important:

• To make a high-quality installation of metal siding, it is better to prepare the crate from wooden rails;
• If the house has obvious differences in the facade, then they can be smoothed by installing a special metal profile. Profile helps to achieve the most flat plane when facing;
• The steps of the crate must not exceed 50-60mm;
• When assembling the cladding, and adhering to a concrete step, do not forget about the possible fastening of insulation sheets, each of which has standard dimensions.

Mounting of metal siding with insulation

If your house is in a region with a low winter temperature, you need to install under the insulation siding:

• The installation of metal siding with a heater does not complicate the plating process. Material for insulation is laid in the space where the profile holds the lining. Mounting insulation sheets directly to the wall with screws and dowels;
• On top of the installed insulation we place a layer with waterproofing. Waterproofing is fixed with a construction stapler. We stick the joints of the film with adhesive tape, in order to avoid water ingress. Now your house is insulated.
