The order of manufacturing

2. The saw itself will remain stationary during operation. The log, which you need to "dissolve", is laid on a special movable bed( cart), moved by hand. Therefore, the installation of a metal frame for fixing the saw must first be envisaged. Under it are laid "rails" from the corner, along which the trolley with the workpiece is moved.
Sawing is done in a horizontal plane. We need to think about how to change the height of the saw's position in the process of "dissolving" logs on the boards. To do this, the frame is equipped with a special mechanism, working on the principle of clamps( "running" screw or something like that).
3. Make the base( the frame).Depending on the expected size of the wood to be processed, a metal corner or more powerful workpieces can be used for it - an I-beam, a channel. It is necessary to ensure a rigid fixation of this frame in the place of installation, since during the production process it will be subjected to increased dynamic loads.
Special attention should be paid to the flatness and horizontality of the upper beams - guides. The distance between them should exceed the diameter of the largest log with which it is supposed to work, approximately by 50 to 70 cm. Regardless of the thickness of the workpiece, it must be securely fixed on the trolley.
