Design features
It is made in a case with a DIN rail mount, for installation in the meter panel next to the circuit breakers, as seen in the photo below.
On the front panel there is a three segment indicator that shows the current status of the mains. Three regulators and three terminals for connecting, everything is extremely simple.

Structurally the controller is made of two boards, power part and control. Almost the whole surface of the power circuit is occupied by a commutating power relay with 40 amps. Setting parameters
Manufacturers Novatek-Electro, developing this relay, went to meet people and programmed this device with basic functions, and the user leaving a simple choice of several options, such as:
- auto-reclosing time( automatic reclosing) from 5 to 900 seconds( 15 minutes);
- lower cutoff threshold( Umin) from 160 to 210 volts;
- upper cutoff threshold( Umax) from 230 to 280 volts.
Rotating the PH-104 potentiometer gives the indicator a digital representation of the parameter, which is undoubtedly convenient and should not be guessed.
We recommend that you configure the characteristics of the voltage relay in this way:
- AR time 180 seconds;
- Umin 190;
- Umax 245.
In practice, there are times when the voltage practically coincides with the set threshold for quite a long time and to avoid continuous switching on and off of the relay, a hysteresis of 4-5 volts from the set one is introduced. In this case, the device automatically enters an additional threshold and will not turn on until the voltage is below the setting by the amount of hysteresis. If this phenomenon is cyclical and periodically repeats, then reconsider the settings and change them.
It's worth mentioning separately about distinctive features volt control PH-104 Novatek Electro. To avoid false disconnection during operation, intelligent monitoring of the network status is established. If the voltage is smoothly increased and has exceeded the limits, but no higher than +30 volts from the set threshold, the relay waits 1 second before disconnecting. It is known that when the power consumer is switched on, the voltage is subsided, they can be a refrigerator or an air conditioner. With a smooth voltage drop less than the set threshold of -60 volts, the device waits 7-12 seconds, which is enough to start the engine of the consumer. If the voltage drops below 145 volts, the device operates in 0.12 seconds.
