2. Preparation of mortar for masonry: fine sand, cement and water in a ratio of 3: 1: 1, you can add PVA adhesive - 50-100 gr per bucket. It is better to buy a building compound for the installation of glass blocks and dilute with water before laying.

3. On the floor lay two reinforcing bars of stainless steel, to avoid corrosion, and apply the solution. Make sure that the rods do not go beyond the line of glass blocks.

7. The wall of the glass blocks on the cement dries on days 7-17, depending on the temperature of the room, and for 1 time it is better to spread 3 layers each with a pause to set the solution, otherwise the wall may sag under its own weight or fall.

Tip: For the radial or circular laying of the wall part, half-blocks of the same color and texture are used, reinforcement should be more thorough. When constructing a radius septum, the installation crosses are placed only in the internal seams. The dimensions of the seams will depend on the bending radius of the wall.

Application of glass blocks with a decorative purpose
