Installation of a wall mixer
We will discuss the mounting procedure for the example of a wall mixer installation.
When removing water pipe fittings from a floor or walls, stand the distance between pipes of 150 mm. If this distance does not coincide with the same on the mixer, it can be fitted with eccentrics. After winding the seal on the eccentrics, screw them into the fittings of the water pipes, observing the required distance. Check that the eccentrics are leveled.
Having exposed the eccentrics, try on the mixer block to them and start screwing it. If the eccentrics were correctly positioned, the block will be evenly screwed on each side.
To hide the place of fixing the block, we will have to remove it and put on the eccentrics decorative plafonds. In case of correct installation of eccentrics, the plafonds should fit closely to the finishing surface.
Attaching the unit itself, do not use additional sealing materials, there will be enough gaskets inside the pressure nuts for tight shrinkage. Twist them with your hands and lightly press the key at the end. In general, it is necessary to work with the carabiner wrench and the adjustable wrench so as not to damage the chrome finish of the product. If this is necessary, put a cloth over the tightened nut and tighten it without effort.
After the installation, open the faucets on the water mains and check for leaks on the body and connections, the force of the head. Eliminate any remaining leaks by tightening the joints more tightly.
How to install the asbestos faucet
Before installing the faucet on the side of the bathtub, remember that in the event of a malfunction, you must provide yourself with access for dismantling. To do this, put a removable falsh panel.
Assembly steps:
1) First, study the design of your mixer. As a rule, a lever crane is built in the side of the bathroom. 3) Having made a marking of the hole for the installation, drill it with a crown cutter. Place the original gasket from the kit under the mixer. Insert the mixer itself and pull it off the side of the bath with the fixing pin and half washer. Fix the unit in the desired position and thoroughly pull off the fasteners.
4) Attach flexible hot and cold water supply hoses to the mixer. Make sure that there are gaskets in the union nuts of the hoses, and sealing rings on the couplings that are screwed into the block.
