Parquet floor grinding with your own hands is not performed manually

Drum and belt grinders handle the surface of the parquet quite roughly, after them there are still slight scratches, so it is desirable to use universal units. If there is not one, you can polish the parquet with a finishing penetration using a disk grinding machine. In universal units various nozzles are provided, with the help of which it is possible to carry out any kinds of work on parquet and floorboard processing.

In general, the management of aggregates for grinding the wooden floor is not particularly difficult, in order to master all the functions, there is an instruction. But how to polish parquet - you need to know. Take the belt assembly as an example, move slowly along the room, pushing the machine ahead of you so that the right wheel after the first row ends is on the ground surface. In other words, the room must be drilled from left to right.
Before reversing the direction of travel, the drum should be raised slightly, this applies to any type of machine - so you will avoid damage to the parquet. Sometimes the straps can lie unevenly, it happens in the event that the parquet has just been laid. In this case, before starting the surface treatment, it is necessary to make test passes by lowering the drum with the tape installed, but with the motor off. If the lever that lowers the drum rises, it means that there is a ledge in this place, if it is more heated, you have found a depression. Such areas should be traced in chalk, in order to give them more attention.
With different parquet floor height, the first pass is made in the direction of the tree fibers, so that the surface is slightly leveled.
How to eliminate scratches on the parquet
There are many kinds of parquet, and each requires an individual approach, it is impossible to sand floors with tiles from different breeds in the same pattern, it can severely damage the coating. So, for example, mosaic parquet should be processed by moving at an angle of 45 degrees to the slats so that the grinding does not turn out. Scratches on the parquet with riveting are removed in two passes, the first being performed at an angle of 7 to 15 degrees to the slats, and already in the second working cycle, fine grinding is performed.
If the laths are severely damaged, consecutive abrasive materials of different degree of grain size should be used. For example, to remove deep scratches with a minimum of passes, a rough abrasive is applied first, also to some extent leaving scratches, but removing more noticeable defects. Then, a finer-grained grinding paper is taken, and so from cycle to cycle, to the absolute smoothness of the surface. It should be remembered that the step in the grain difference should not exceed one number. Control grinding, before removing scratches from the parquet, is usually performed using the numbers of consumables K50 or K60.
