On various sites and forums ask many questions about how to repair the punch. Often, repairs have cheap models, all kinds of fakes for popular manufacturers. With the breakage of such tools, it is simply pointless to restore them, and it is not advisable to give them to the workshops, because repairs cost in the amount for which you can buy a new tool.
More expensive and qualitative models last much longer even with frequent and intense use. Their replacement is often caused not by the output of the tool, but by the desire to buy a more perfect model.
If the firm puncher stopped beating or there was another breakdown, then experts do not advise trying to fix it on their own. All models have their own technological features, so there is no guarantee of successful repair. You will waste time, and in the worst case, further aggravate the breakdown. By your own strength you can cope with only a small breakdown.

Causes of failures of
The feature of the puncher is work in a strong dusting. Its collector motor is cooled by a fan. In the cooling air there are dust particles that rub against the stator and the anchor, and they wear out quickly. If the puncher does not turn on, there may have been a varnish wear, and the winding has broken through. In this case, you will inevitably have to rewind the armature and stator.

Another common failure is associated with the mechanical part of the tools. Most of them have mechanisms for switching the operating mode. In the puncher they are: battle, rotation, rotation with combat. The switching mechanism of these modes is susceptible to breakdowns, which lead to poor performance. If you stopped punching a punch, maybe the reason is in the mechanism. This can be checked visually by disassembling the instrument.
Malfunctions of the puncher are often associated with the cartridge, because it is subjected to a heavy load. You can only be safe from this in one way - to protect it from getting inside dirt and dust. Periodically, the cartridge should be removed and washed with gasoline. You can also blow out dirt with compressed air and relubricate all the mechanisms.
How to disassemble the tool
If you still need to repair the perforator yourself, do it in the following order:
- The shift lever is removed, be careful, because incorrect disassembly can break fragile parts;
- The rubber cap is disconnected. It should be changed from time to time to protect the trunk of the instrument( this can be the cause of breakage if the punch does not turn);
- If the cartridge is collapsible, then proceed as follows: remove the brushes, unscrew the screws and remove the case, then everything falls apart by itself;
- Inspection, replacement of damaged components, lubrication;
Note! It is not recommended to use lubricants such as a sail.
