General properties and effectiveness of a mixture of boric acid from cockroaches
Boric or orthoboric acid is the most popular remedy among all folk remedies. There are a huge number of recipes for its use, this substance has both positive and negative sides. With all this, the drug is usable in any premises, it does not harm people.

It's enough just to distribute it to places where insects often move - on kitchen skirting, under the sink and plumbing.
In order to poison an insect, 2 mg of powder is enough, that is, in the theory of a 10 g bag, enough to eliminate many thousands of pests. In practice, to get rid of cockroaches with boric acid, it will need much more, since a lot of powder is consumed idle.
Sometimes liquid boric acid will be more effective, since the solution can be placed in places where cockroaches usually come to drink water, that is, near a sink or toilet bowl. So the probability of getting poison into the body of insects increases.
Boric acid balls with yolk
If the cockroaches in the house are small, then in order to poison them, it will be enough to scatter the product in the places of their accumulation and arrange solutions. After that, most of them should be poisoned, and the remaining ones - leave the apartment. However, if this does not happen, the following recipes should be used:
- 40 mg of orthoboric acid is added to the crude yolk of the egg and mixed until a uniform mass is obtained.
- The same proportions of boric acid, powdered sugar and flour mixed with water and kneaded as a dough.
- Take 60 g of powdered sugar, 200 g of orthoboric acid and 60 g of starch, a little water is added to the mass to make a sticky gruel.
