The Shopping and Entertainment Center "Crystals" , presented to your attention , is part of the huge MGM Mirage City Center complex in Las Vegas, spread over an area of more than 76 hectares. The shopping and entertainment center itself occupies an area of 46 thousand square meters and is intended for various uses.

It houses high-class retail establishments, fashion clubs, fine restaurants, galleries, offices and related office and administrative premises. And the " Crystals " were designed by Daniel Libeskind, and were built by Adamson Associates in the framework of the city center reconstruction project.

« Crystals » knowingly received such a name. They really look like a huge crystalline monolith of an incredible square that does not lose its shape at any angle. In the architectural style of this building, the basic rules of postmodernism imposed on the almost non-widespread deconstructionism were used, which allowed the Crystals to become one of the most striking events in the world of modern architecture.

The brokenness of external lines is severely divided with the architecture of the interior spaces, which, on the contrary, are solved in the spirit of functional-user constructivism - nothing superfluous, nothing appealing, nothing that could remind of how chaotic the building of the Crystals looks from the outside.

Moving away from the first shock that produces Crystals on those who first saw this complex, you climb the spiral staircase to find yourself in a world of genuine luxury - among the shops of the brands Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Prada"," Tom Ford "," Tiffany &Co "," Bulgari "and many others, among restaurants, of which only two can be named -" Wolfgang Park "and" Beso "- so that connoisseurs understand the high level of service in question. And yet, being inside, you will see amazing fountains and incredible statues created by the world famous sculptor Henry Moore.

In the design and construction of Crystals , only environmentally friendly materials were used, which allowed this shopping and entertainment center in November 2009 to receive an environmental safety certificate from the Green Building Council.

And we want to finish our story with one more fact: for today the complex "MGM Mirage City Center", of which the "Crystals" are part, is considered the most expensive commercial object in US history - its price exceeds $ 11 billion.
