Modern house or apartment is difficult to imagine without electricity. That is why the installation of electrical wiring is an important part of the construction work. Tools and safety

The following tools will be needed for work:

Before proceeding, make sure that the room in which the work is to be done is de-energized. This can be done with a multimeter or an indicator screwdriver.

Rules for the installation of concealed wiring in the apartment

Stroking can be carried out only in the horizontal and vertical plane, but in no case diagonally.

If the bulkhead in which the wiring and the outlets are planned to have a thickness of less than 10 cm, the vertical shrouds can not be located closer than 20 cm from both angles, not more than 1.20 m from the floor and not below 80 cm from the ceiling.

The distance between two shrouds on one wall must be at least 1.5 m.

When choosing a corrugated tube, consider the fact that its thickness should be greater than the thickness of the cable. After installing the cable, at least 2/3 of free space must remain in the pipe.

Step-by-step instruction

Marking

Using a pencil, apply the desired location of the sockets, switches, junction boxes and electrical wiring to the wall. Use the level to create accurate vertical and horizontal traces.

Drilling

Use a drill or drill with core drill to make grooves for sockets, switches and junction boxes.

Stroking

Pull the shrouds between the grooves made with a shroud or angle grinder( "grinder").Shtroby need to do with a small margin( 4-5 mm more than the thickness of the corrugated tube), so that after laying the cable it was convenient to putty. In order to keep it and not drop out during installation, put a little filler in the recess and insert the box. Wait for a couple of minutes until the putty slightly stiffens. After mounting the boxes, mount and fix the tubes with nails driven in at an angle.

Puttying

After installation, you can begin to putty. After applying the filler, its excess should be removed with a trowel, gently pressing on its edges.

Connection

The final stage. Strip the wires with pliers and connect them to the outlets and switches, and then install them in the boxes.
