There is an opinion that the life of the washing machine directly depends on the manufacturer. It is possible to argue on this topic for a long time, but in practice the opinion of professionals - repair shops, more precisely those who are engaged directly in repair remains objective.

They can tell which brands were least likely to be seen by them in their work. Based on their words, the rating of durability of washing machines was compiled:

• The first place in the rating is occupied by German manufacturers. The service life with the proper mode of operation reaches 30 years. For example, firm Miele. Of course, the cost of such units for most is simply unbearable, but, and the percentage of calls to the service is extremely low.
• The machines of the Swedish and Austrian assembly were not far behind. Electrolux and AEG.They are able to last 20 years.
• Korean and Italian specialists occupy an honorable third place. Their brands Samsung, LG, Indesit, Ardo work 8 years.
• And at the end of the list are Chinese, Russian and Turkish manufacturers. Washing machines Beko, Samsung, Candy, Zanussi, Vestel work till 5 years and that under condition of original accessories.

Of course, the terms of operation are greatly influenced by the conditions in which the machine is used.

• Excessive water hardness damages the heating element.
• It happens that small things that you forgot to get from your pockets get into the drum of the unit. This inevitably leads to repair. And of course, reduces the time of use.
• Voltage surges are another reason for the failure of the washers. If you neglect the installation of protection against such surprises or simply do not install the ground, then you should not count on the time of operation according to GOST.

To ensure that the life of your machine is not reduced due to external factors, simple actions should be performed:

• Do not overload the washing machine with work and do not allow around-the-clock washing. Take breaks.
• Choose a quality detergent.
• Do not forget to check the contents of the pockets of the things that you download.
• Install the filters on the water to provide the necessary rigidity.
• Control the weight of the load to be loaded.
