The problem is aggravated by the fact that bedbugs are insects incredibly hardy, completely destroying them is quite difficult. They differ in that they gradually get used to a certain chemical agent, after which it completely loses its effectiveness. Thus, the fight against bugs is an extremely responsible and labor-intensive exercise.
The modern chemical industry produces a variety of chemical products that allow bugs to be eliminated without involving professional services. Practice demonstrates that it is the chemical method of struggle that demonstrates the maximum effectiveness.
Before you start using industrial products or folk recipes, you need to determine exactly where the source of infection is located. It is well known that 7 out of 10 people simply do not notice the bites of insects, and therefore it is very difficult to find them. Typically, the bugs are hidden in the crevices between the wall and the baseboard, under the carpets, behind furniture and wallpaper. Eggs of parasites can be found not only on furniture items or in carpets with a long nap, but even inside home appliances or in the fur of pets.
How to get bugs out of people's ways
If you do not trust shop chemicals or think them dangerous, you can try some folk methods of eliminating bedbugs, by which the destruction of bedbugs in an apartment turns into a very simple task:
Vinegar
All places where there wereinsects are noticed, it is necessary to treat with the help of essence. This method is completely safe for furniture and harmless to any surface. Bedbugs will not bear a sharp vinegar smell.
Exposure to hot steam
Probable habitats of bugs are treated with boiling water.
Valerian
Treatment of the proposed habitat for bedbugs leads to the fact that insects begin to actively creep out. The downside of this method is that it is completely ineffective in a situation where insects have already laid eggs.
Kerosene, turpentine and boiling water
This method can be confidently called the most ancient. All components are mixed, after which the solution is used for processing pieces of furniture.
Wormwood
The sharp smell of the plant makes the insects leave their places of violence.
Cooling
Exposure to temperatures below minus 20 degrees causes bed bugs to die within 24 hours.
Chlorophos against bedbugs
If folk recipes do not allow you to achieve the desired result, you can use more effective methods. For example, chlorophos has already proved itself as the strongest poison, completely destroying the population of bedbugs. The treatment is carried out with a solution of water and a 10% emulsion of the chemical. The use of chlorophos should be maintained with open windows and doors. During handling, use gloves, a respirator and other protective equipment.
The minus of chlorophos is that it is not capable of destroying the eggs of insects, and therefore, after 3-4 months, re-treatment is required. A good and inexpensive drug from bugs is also carbofos, but it is characterized by a very unpleasant odor, after which the room will have to air for 2-3 days.
