Autonomous gasification of a private house - gashold installation and use of gas cylinders

The construction of a country house implies among others the solution of the problem of its heating and hot water supply in the absence of centralized networks. There are several options for solving this problem: it can be heating on solid or liquid fuel, on electricity, on solar batteries. But one of the most convenient and economical ways is an autonomous gasification of a private house, which will enable not only to heat the dwelling, but also to have hot water, cook food, without depending on the centralized supply. It seems to many that this is an incredibly complex and expensive technology, but in reality it is not so.

Installing an autonomous gas supply system

By installing an autonomous gas supply system( AGS), you can connect all systems running on gas: heating, lighting, including emergency, hot water, air conditioning. With the help of gas many household appliances can work: a stove, a fireplace, a convector, a boiler, a water heater.

The AGS system consists of several basic elements: a tank of liquefied gas( gasholder), which is necessarily equipped with a lightning rod and corrosion protection;From this reservoir, the pipeline leaves the distributor head, and from it, in turn, the outlets go to the points of consumption. The capacity of the liquefied mixture of natural gases( propane and butane) from a special tanker truck is filled.

The reservoir can be horizontal and vertical, ground and underground. The best option is a horizontal underground gasholder, which provides better operation safety, better performance( since it has a wider "evaporation mirror").In addition, the underground reservoir can be located at a closer distance to the house, and it will be provided with better protection against severe frosts.

The volume and type of gasholder are determined depending on the consumer needs: what area will need to be heated, how many and which devices to connect.

Installation of the AGS

System Only qualified specialists who have passed the certification can install the AGS system.

The underground gas tank is installed usually 10 meters from the residential building( if necessary, can be reduced to 5 m), 5 m from communications, ground structures, septic tanks;15 m from the well;2 m from the fence.

First dig a foundation pit, a depth of at least 2 m, which has gentle slopes. In size, it should have a margin of width and length of about 0.5 m compared to the size of the tank. The concrete reinforced slab is laid on the bottom of the foundation pit, the dimensions and thickness of which are calculated depending on the nature of the soil and the dimensions of the gas holder. On the plate lay a lining of reinforced frost-resistant rubber, and already put a reservoir on it. A gas pipeline is laid from it( with a slope of 5 ° towards the condensate collector and at a depth below the freezing depth, which is 1.7 m for the central strip of the RF).He goes to the house and here gas is taken to the gas equipment. An alarm tape is placed on top of the gas pipeline for warning in case of excavation at this place in the future. Drain the tank manually with sand and earth.

Several times a year( 1-3) the AGS system is filled with liquid gas, which is delivered by gas supply organizations in special tanks. To travel this transport it is necessary to equip access roads.

The system of household mini-gas holders

In addition to large gas holders, the AGS system can consist of a group of household gas cylinders with a capacity of 50 liters, combined into groups - working and backup. In each group the number of cylinders is the same - from 1 to 50. They are separated by the control valve. If the working group finishes the gas, the system automatically switches to the standby group. The built-in visual indication system allows you to see which group is currently consuming gas. The replacement of cylinders can be made during operation.

This system is more convenient than usual for several reasons:

  • it does not require excavation for gasholder installation - cylinders can be installed both indoors and outdoors, protecting them from direct sunlight;
  • does not need to buy expensive equipment( a tank for liquefied gas);
  • does not require gas delivery by special tanks;The
  • system can be increased at any time by adding the correct number of cylinders;
  • installation of the system does not require special permission.

Stand-alone gasification for a private home is a convenient, economical and safe system that allows you to reduce payments for heating, electricity, hot water and independently dispose of these resources as required by the owner of the house.
