- Since failure due to contamination of the drain filter is a rather common problem for Hansa machines, it is important to clean the filter regularly. It is recommended to do this approximately every twenty washings.
- Also, periodically( once a year), clean the drain hose, removing it from the machine, after unscrewing its rear wall.
