The wooden structure can be made in two versions:
- draft version;
- finish performance.
The first involves the use of a non-planed plain board, possibly with a high level of residual moisture. In this case, for final commissioning, additional floor covering such as linoleum, laminate, parquet, etc., should be used, unless, of course, this is not a technical room.
Finishing performance involves the use of a dry, grooved planed board, which itself is smooth, pleasant to the touch and does not need additional coverage.
The device of both types is identical and differs only at the final stage of installation of floorboards.

- Align the floor. The required height of the lag is measured by the level, and they are adjusted to it with the help of wooden wedges, scraps from planks and other improvised materials. The boards( bars) are fixed with dowels or anchors are used.
This is the whole process of installing logs. It is worthwhile to understand that the final result will depend on their strength and correctness of installation. Therefore, we must necessarily prepare such subtleties as the end of the lag. Not a planed board, which is most often used for this purpose, leaves much to be desired. Thermal insulation, sound insulation and communications
After installation of the backbone, but before the final coating, care must be taken to heat, protect against unnecessary sounds, beauty and safety of the room. To do this, in the space between the lags are placed materials that protect against negative factors.
In most cases, communications are laid under thermal insulation on the basis of the floor, but this rule is not strict, and the decision must be taken only individually.
After the heat-insulating layer is mounted. In the role of insulation can be various materials, but the most common - expanded clay, polystyrene, mineral wool. It is important to understand that each of them has its own merits and demerits, and it is necessary to choose them according to one's own preferences. The claydite is fireproof, light, easy to install, but it keeps the heat though insignificant, but worse than other materials. Polystyrene foam has average values for thermal insulation, it protects well from noise, but it is fire-hazardous. Minvata is the leader among such materials. It keeps well the heat, it is fireproof, soundproofs the room. But in case of using mineral wool it is necessary to protect it from moisture from the premises by wrapping it with polyethylene( waterproofing is necessary).

After installation of all types of insulation and communications, you can proceed to the final stage of installation of the wooden floor.
There are two main types of laying of the floorboards, as on the
image. For the draft version, usual boards of thickness 3.5-4 cm are suitable, and they can be fixed with regular screws or nails.
Paving of a finishing coating requires more delicate and attentive work. You need to buy a smooth planed sheet piling. This is necessary in order, first, that the boards fit tightly to each other, and secondly, that the fasteners can not be seen. The grooved board is mounted quite easily, and the result looks quite dignified. 
Well, one more thing that sometimes is missed for the sake of economy, by installing a wooden floor with your own hands. All materials are better treated with antiseptic composition - then the tree will last long and trouble-free, and also it will eliminate the scratch for a while.
With time, sooner or later, the question arises as to how to re-arrange the wooden covering. This is also no complication. First, you need to assess the state of the coating, and then either completely or partially replace the components. Repair by its technology is no different from the installation.
