The first stage - we make measurements, draw drawings

Swing doors consist of three components: frame, sash, hinges. The frame is made from a steel corner, 65 mm thick.

For casement frame we take corners or a profile of steel, 50 mm thick, covered with sheet iron( wood paneling is applied later).For fastening doors we use hinges.

The second stage - the manufacture of frame frame

Installation of garage doors must be done during the construction of the garage.

Frame( inner and outer parts) must be installed during the formation of the front wall, and only after its installation can continue construction.

The 65 mm steel corner must be cut( it is better to use the "bulgark" for this) in 4 parts, equal to the width of the door opening, and into 4 parts, the length of which is equal to the height of the opening.

It is necessary to arrange the prepared parts, weld them, paying attention to the angles, which should be exactly 90 degrees.

Welding is best done by a lapped method. Be sure to make sure that the corners do not "lead".Outside, the frame needs to be ground, a smooth surface will ensure the perfect fit of the leaf to the frame.

The third stage - we form the frame of the

leaflets. The frame of the leaflets should be slightly smaller than the gate itself, so that they will be tightly adhered to the outside of the frame. We take a steel corner or a rectangular profile.

Cut 4 pieces, 10-15 millimeters shorter than the height of the frame, and 4 more parts, the length of which is equal to half the width of the doorway minus 30 to 35 millimeters.

To weld a smooth frame, lay out the parts on a flat surface, preferably inside the finished frame. The angles should be exactly 90 degrees.

In order to prevent changes in the wings, to strengthen them in the middle of the interior of the structure, you need to weld another piece of steel corner.

Fourth stage - installation of door leaf gates

Two sheets are cut from steel sheets( at least 2 millimeters thick).The height of the doors should be longer by 3 to 4 centimeters than the height of the garage opening, but the widths of the paintings will be different.

The width of one sheet will be 1 to 2 centimeters less than the width of the frame, and the other sheet, on the contrary, is 2 centimeters wider.

The welding design needs the following way. Above and below the canvas will go for a basis of 1 - 2 centimeters.

A leaf of smaller width( opens with the second one) is welded so that 1 centimeter remains to the edge of the frame, the second sheet on the contrary, will extend beyond the framework structure by 2 to 4 centimeters. Such a method will allow the flaps to fit tightly.

According to the welding rules, the sheets are welded first in the corners and in the middle, so that they do not deform, and only then every 10 -15 centimeters are welded all the canvas.

We finish the installation of the leaflets, covering them with sheet iron, weld the loops. From below, the loop is welded to the frame, and above to the sash.

The fifth stage - installation of the gates in the garage

The installation of door frames must be done at the construction stage of the garage. We connect them together, welding at a distance of 60 centimeters from each other 4-centimeter strips of metal.

After the frames have been formed, we finish the construction of the front wall of the garage. There should not be any space.

With the help of reinforcing bars 20-30 centimeters in length( you can use iron pipes) we mount the frame into the wall. We have rods in places of seams.

The sixth stage - we fix locks and bolts on the gate

The locks and bolts complete the installation of our structure.

One of the wings will be closed on the locks inside the garage, fixing on the ceiling and in the floor, for these purposes we drill holes 5 centimeters deep.

The second door will be closed on the locks, which are included in the first leaf in specially prepared holes for them. Outside, the garage construction can be secured with a padlock.

Seventh stage - warming of garage doors and garage
