The drilling process in Hitachi drills is provided by transferring the rotational torque from the rotor, through the intermediate shaft to the barrel of the impactor.

A shock pulse is created by moving the strikers in the piston sleeve and the barrel of the impactor. A drunken bearing fixed to the axis of the intermediate shaft converts the rotational motion into a reciprocating motion.

The reasons why a perforator can drill, but do not break, can be:

  • destruction of a drunken bearing;
  • destruction of the barrel of the barrel;
  • jamming or destruction of strikers;
  • cranking the clutch in a drunken bearing;
  • wear of rubber sealing rings.

Repair of a drunken bearing and a clutch or their replacement

The output of a drunken bearing is damaged when the cage of the built-in bearing collapses. This fault is only removed by completely replacing the drunk bearing. The chopping of the Hitachi DH24PC3 is due to the transfer of reciprocating motion from the intermediate shaft through the rolling bearing to the cylinder moving in the barrel of the impactor. Two pincers are installed in the cylinder of the puncher.     - turning the pinion pos. 49 on the intermediate shaft pos.52;
    - turning of a gear wheel pos25 on a shaft of a trunk pos.24.

To restore the splines with little wear, you can fix the shape of the tooth slot. To do this, you need to fix the contours of the tooth with the help of a round nail file, clamped in the cartridge of the drill.

It is possible to restore the operation of the mode switch 4 only by completely replacing it.

Gear pos.25 is mounted on the table shaft and fixed there using a spring pos.26, fixed by a lock ring pos.28 and washer steel M30 pos.27.

The reasons for which the puncher stops working are:

  • tooth decay of the small helical gear of the rotor;
  • rotor failure;
  • short circuit or an open in the stator circuits;
  • open or short in control circuits.

Rotor Repair

With minor wear of the helical gear, the fault is eliminated by restoring the tooth shape, if possible. Otherwise, the gear unit must be replaced completely.

In case of short circuit or breakage of the rotor windings, failure of the collector lamellas, the reducer can be repaired by one's own hands or replaced with a new one. Stator repair

The stator is repaired if there is a short circuit or an open in it. Repair the stator is not difficult, if you know the number of turns, wire cross section and its brand.

If you have a stator burned, or if a break is detected in it, then during its disassembly, count the number of turns and measure the cross section with a micrometer. Pay attention to the percentage of filling the stator with the winding. With a small percentage of filling, the diameter of the winding wire can be increased.

Inspection of the electrical control part

Faults in the control circuits are most often manifested in the breakage of the power wires at the point of entry into the tool and the failure of the start button.
