What is a SHG plate?

Many people who pay attention to this material are asked a completely logical question: what is it like? In simple terms, this material is a small sheet, which consists of such components:

  • Gypsum - by 83%;
  • Moisture - by 2%;
  • Chips - by 15%.

It would seem that the SHG plate has a completely simple and uncomplicated composition, why is it so popular? The thing is that this combination of conventional materials gives an amazing effect - a durable, durable and refractory material.

Application of

In general, the use of a gypsum plasterboard is carried out in the construction sector, and in particular for:

  • facing internal surfaces - ceilings, partitions and walls;
  • creating prefabricated screeds under floor coverings;
  • lining of steel and wooden structures.

Due to the fact that this building material is absolutely safe and environmentally friendly, it is widely used in premises with high requirements for sanitation: hospitals, kindergartens and even in schools.

Technical characteristics of gypsum plasterboard

The actual technical characteristics of the gypsum plasterboard significantly exceed the parameters of the known drywall and gypsum-fiber sheet. In particular, it is possible to note such parameters:

  • Density - 1250 kg / m3;
  • Flexural strength - 8 MPa;
  • Coefficient of thermal conductivity, 0,2-0,25 W / m · С;
  • Swelling for 2 hours - no more than 2.0% for a standard slab and no more than 0.2% for a moisture-resistant slab( GSPV);
  • Water absorption for 2 hours - no more than 30% for a standard plate and not more than 10% for a moisture-resistant slab( GSPV);
  • Moisture - no more than 2% of the total mass.

You can also note the equally stunning properties of the gypsum plasterboard:

  • Biological durability. The material does not rot and it will not start mold;
  • Fire resistance. This allows the use of slabs in premises where there is a high risk of fire;
  • Absence of harmful substances in the composition;
  • High level of sound insulation;
  • Positive application experience. Throughout its existence, the gypsum plaster board receives only positive feedback, both from individuals and professional builders.

Advantages of

The GSP plate is a modern finishing material that has such advantages:

  • Ecological cleanliness and safety of use. Building material can be used in any type of premises, because it consists of natural materials and meets sanitary standards. As already mentioned above, these plates can be used even in children's institutions, sanatoria and hospitals;
  • Flameproof. This type of building material does not burn, and when heated it will not emit substances that can harm a person;
  • Ease of installation. If you look at the photos and videos presented on our website, you will be able to make sure that the GPS plates are very easy to use and do not require special skills during installation;
  • Resistance to moisture. This building material can be easily applied in rooms with a high level of humidity, for example, in bathrooms and showers;
  • No significant disadvantages. In general, the disadvantages of a gypsum plasterboard are its heavy weight and the ability to use it only indoors. Other essential flaws simply do not exist;
  • High strength and shock resistance.
