How to make a fence from the mesh of Rabinets with your own hands - instructions and tips

Fence based on mesh netting is one of the most popular types of metal fencing. Such a significant level of distribution is easy to explain:

  • Rabitz net is the most durable, reliable and inexpensive material. You can buy it without problems in any store that specializes in construction products. The transportation process is not a problem either, since the sale of goods is carried out in rolls;
  • A fence based on this mesh does not prevent the sun from reaching the area necessary for healthy growth of garden crops and plants.

The process of installing the fence from the mesh netting is quite possible with our own hands, because any specialized skills are simply not required. In total there are two ways of mounting fences: sectional and tension. The simplest and fastest installation, which is based on the tension technique.

During the installation you will have to use the following materials:

  • Mesh netting;
  • Poles from wood or metal;
  • Fittings and fasteners. Suitable as a wire of considerable strength, and a cable.

Layout, calculations and material of the

pillars First of all, it is necessary to determine the amount of material required in the process of work. You can find out the number of grids if you measure the boundaries of the territory. In the corners, pins are installed, after which a cord is stretched along the entire perimeter, the length of which is subsequently measured. To establish poles follows, observing an interval in the region of 250-300 centimeters. Based on these data, you can easily calculate how many poles should be used.

You also need to understand what material to use when installing poles. You can use a wooden beam, sold in construction stores. Such bars are not as durable as metal ones, but much cheaper. In massive pillars, there is no need, since the grid is a material with a low weight and minimal sail.

If the base of a wooden pole is a common pole, then it must necessarily be perfectly cleaned from the bark. The exact length of the column depends on the width of the mesh, and on the height of the fence. It should be remembered that the height of the fence should be stacked with the depth of the pits into which the installation will be carried out. After installation, you need to paint. In order to extend the operational period, part of the column, which is in the ground, must be treated with mastic.

Metal poles are characterized by greater reliability and durability. The pipe is suitable for both square and rectangular sections. Correction of metal poles in size can be carried out with the help of a Bulgarian. If the grid fastener is hooked, then they are pre-welded to the posts. Metal posts are always pre-degreased, cleaned with a solvent and painted. Waterproofing mastic must be applied to the part of the column that is in the soil. Above the pipes must be closed, so that the inside does not get atmospheric moisture, contributing to the destruction.

Fence installation

So, the installation process begins with the preparation of pits. Optimal depth - about a meter. Ideally, the pits should be 15 centimeters deeper than the level at which the ground freezes. To avoid subsidence of the pits, the bottom must be covered with rubble and sand, which are laminated layer by layer. After the backfill and ramming are completed, the pit is filled with water, which contributes to complete shrinkage.

If metal pillars are installed, then it is possible to engage in concreting. With the help of an ordinary shovel, the concrete solution is poured into the pit by layers. Sealing is achieved by means of a bayonet. It is necessary to understand that the quality of the installation of poles directly affects how long the fence will last without the need for restoration work.

When the posts are securely installed, the grid mounting phase begins. The roll is placed on the corner post and fixed to the edge. If the grid does not have reliable protection against rust, then it should be raised about 10 centimeters above the ground so that rotting does not occur in the first year. When using wooden poles, the grid is attached to nails or staples, on metal poles, in turn, hooks must be installed.

To prevent sagging, the reinforcing bar must be passed through the upper edge of the net, which is securely fixed to the poles. To achieve the ultimate level of reliability, the rod can be passed along the bottom edge. If the grid is mounted in full compliance with the rules, then it will not sag for a long time, and therefore you will not have to do restoration work.
