The toilet bowl with the bottom piping is a container from below the hose comes with water. In this tank, water is stored before the discharge procedure. Above the tank is a lid. In modern toilet bowls on the cover there is a flush button, but in some models it is mounted on the side, if the tank is located high above the bowl. Bottom eyeliner is considered the most invisible and attractive option for the toilet. Nevertheless, it is rather difficult to create. To do this, first connect the tank to the water supply, and only after that you can attach the tank to the wall or the base of the toilet.

Used in the toilet bowl with a lower feeder are divided into two categories:

  • Locking;
  • Drain.

Types

Shut-off

The design of this valve includes:

  • Float;
  • Guide;
  • Thrust;
  • Glass;
  • The diaphragm valve.

In this toilet bowl the drain works according to the following scheme:

  • When the tank empties after draining, the float goes down the guide;
  • Next, the thrust exerts an effort on the valve, thereby opening it;
  • From the water supply system, water fills the tank capacity;
  • The float chamber thus starts to move to a level limited by thrust;
  • The valve closes, the water supply stops.

Draining

Draining armature is a system of draining the water. In the tank it is attached using a union nut, mainly made of plastic. Seal the seals on the drain pipe to seal the joint. And you need to do this before you mount the valve itself. There is also a gasket between the bowl and the tank, which makes it possible to make the joint sealed and prevent water from flowing to the floor. The shape of the gasket used directly depends on the model of the toilet bowl purchased.

Drainage system tasks:

  • Provide drainage when pressing the appropriate button;
  • Provide emergency relief( a special chute is provided).

Design features

To remove the descent mechanism for models with the top position of the button, it must be scrolled counter-clockwise, after which the button is easily removed, like the entire cover.

It is not uncommon for cases of toilet bowls with a bottom line, where there are two buttons. This is done to save water when draining. A small button drains a little water, a large one - twice as much.

The internal contents of the tank can be different. Sometimes a direct drain is used, in which water from the container enters the bowl. Other designs have a backwash, where the direction of water movement changes, which adds noise.

Advantages of

  1. Have an attractive appearance, as the pipes are hidden from the eyes of the user.
  2. The toilet itself with such a piping is often performed in its original form and with an unusual design.
  3. The system practically does not create noise, there are no annoying many sounds of pouring water.
  4. The most practical option, because it is characterized by high reliability and less frequently the rest needs to be repaired and maintained.

Disadvantages of

  1. The complexity of installation.
  2. It is necessary in some cases to completely dismantle the system in order to repair the drain tank.
  3. Despite rare cases of failure, if this happens, it is difficult to replace a separate structural element. It is better to completely change the node immediately.
  4. Such toilet bowls are oriented mainly to America and Europe, therefore with the connection there can be problems due to unique adapters, unusual couplings for our region. Because the toilet and all accessories for the connection is better to buy immediately in the same store.

Installation

You can completely mount the installation yourself. However, it should be noted that this process is more complicated, if compared with the toilet bowls with side-feed, for example.

Either way, the sequence of your actions should be as follows:

  1. Each product has its own data sheet, which contains detailed installation instructions. Read it.
  2. Attentively study all that went in the complete set with a toilet bowl. Generally, manufacturers provide the necessary fasteners and connectors.
  3. Install the lower part of the toilet, fixing it in the right place and position. Make sure that the length of the nozzles is enough, and the piping will reach its places.
  4. The tank is now mounted. Just at this stage, you need to install an internal structure.
  5. As practice shows, the first valve is installed, and when the tank is docked. To do this you will need sealed rubber gaskets and adapters.
  6. In some cases, an inlet valve is mounted simultaneously with the priming valve. But it depends directly on the chosen model of the toilet.
  7. It is not difficult to assemble the remaining elements if you have instructions at hand. Toilet bowls are often unique in their design, so we can not give general assembly advice.
  8. All components must be assembled exclusively by hand, the tool is not required here. At the same time, apply sufficient force to ensure that the connections are strong.

Frequent problems and solutions

  1. Over time or incorrect installation, leaks may occur from the outside of the drain socket, from flushing or from the tank itself. This phenomenon indicates only one thing - the gasket leaks. To correct the situation, slightly tighten the connecting pipe and the pipe with a plastic nut. If after this the leakage does not stop, then block off the water, unscrew the nut and pull the pipe down. Pull, the gasket should appear soon. Remove it, and on the tip of the branch pipe, perform about 10 windings of the FSM tape. Put the element in its original position and tighten with the same nut.
  2. Water does not drain. Check the liquid level inside the tank. According to the rules, this should be the upper level. If it is small, it is sometimes enough to adjust the angle of the float arm. To adjust the screw turns the plastic. A screwdriver is required. In brass products, the lever is unbent manually or the nut on which the float is attached is loosened and is shifted upwards.
  3. Draining goes in spurts. Inspect the drainage system lever fasteners. Probably, it is loose, and then the lifting rod will not rise vertically. To solve the problem, simply tighten the bolt and adjust the lever in the desired position.
  4. The drainage lever has failed. There are special universal elements for replacement, which are not a problem today. In some cases, replacements have to be shortened. The main thing is the lack of cohesion between it and the siphon block.
  5. Calcareous plaque. You can get rid of it with improvised means - citric acid and water. From the drain siphon you need to remove water, apply paste from these ingredients. I'll have to leave her at night. This mixture perfectly copes with the bloom.
