How to combine oven and water circuit?

For a heating unit with a water circuit, there is a presence of a system through which the coolant circulates, i.e.hot water, heated by an oven. Due to the presence of the circuit, the heat from the kiln cools down more slowly, the room heats up faster. All these are important indicators for fuel economy. As a coolant, distilled water is poured into the system or in some modern heating units it is allowed to use antifreezes. This makes it possible to protect the system from freezing in severe frosts.

How to combine the oven and the water circuit?

To ensure the normal operation of the water circuit in the furnace furnace insert a heat exchanger - a register in the form of a coil. Such a scheme of heating warms the house no worse than gas heating. It is already a full-fledged boiler with a capacity and efficiency exceeding other known heating devices.

The register has a traditional look and is made of metal pipes with a wall thickness of 3-5 mm. The register consists of several zones, each of which ensures the normal operation of the system.

Register connection

Heating furnaces with a water circuit are available in several versions:

  1. Specially designed and folded for register location.
  2. With the installation of a heat exchanger in an already existing furnace.

The second option is much more expensive, since it will be necessary to adjust or order the coil for existing dimensions of the furnace, and it is not entirely convenient to build a register in a limited space.

Register affiliation

In the first case, everything is much simpler, but when constructing the furnace, you must strictly follow certain requirements:

  1. The thickness of the register walls should be from 3 to 5 mm. If you do not adhere to this requirement and put thin pipes, they will quickly burn out, and you will need to replace the entire coil with the concomitant disassembly of the entire furnace.
  2. The internal parameters of the thermal jacket are a minimum of 4 mm. If it is thinner, the water will boil, not having time to pass into the system.
  3. The thermal gap between the walls and the register must be at least 1-1.5 cm so that the register can expand with heating without affecting the entire structure.

Types of furnaces with water heating

  • Heating furnace made of bricks on wood. If the oven is already available, then such a construction does not require special bookmarking. It will be enough to install only a special hot water tank. It will provide the entire system with a coolant.;
  • Bulerjan. There is no separate register in it, the case itself serves as a heat exchanger. This construction is a horizontal cylinder, separated by a partition. The lower part is intended for firewood and for creating the necessary temperature. And the upper part - to burn out the remaining products or pyrolysis gas. Bugleran with a water circuit should have a chimney or a good ventilation system. Otherwise, they become life-threatening.
  • Cast iron ovens with a water circuit. By itself, the cast iron unit is excellent in conveying heat, durable and reliable, and the hot water jacket is made of steel.

Furnaces with a water circuit, working from coal, wood, pellets, peat and other fuels - this is an ideal choice for holiday homes. With a well-designed system and a powerful furnace, even a large country cottage can be built. Furnaces not only will not spoil the appearance of the room, but will also become an ornament of the interior, if you perform them with taste and decorative finish.
