For this work you need tools: a knife, a drill, a pencil for marks, a puncher, drills for concrete and tiles, a screwdriver. Maybe you will have to buy a diamond drill, the drill will not take tiles of ceramic granite and glass tiles. It is also better not to take a marker instead of a pencil, its traces are difficult to wipe off the tiles.
In order to install the cornice, first attach it to the wall. Use the pencil to mark the location of the pencil. If the cornice for the bathroom is semicircular, then it is installed on two attachment points located on adjacent walls. To do this, you need to drill the walls, place dowels in the holes and secure the cornice with screws. Vertical racks can also be used, they are mounted on the floor and fixed in the middle point of the bar itself. If the bar is long and heavy, then such a construction will not allow it to bend.
Usually, all cornices are attached to the walls. But when it has a complex shape, then it is also attached to the ceiling. At the same time asymmetrical, as well as flexible cornices are fixed to the wall and to the ceiling. But if the room has stretch ceilings, the ceiling mount will not work. It is not desirable to make such fastening, if the ceiling is lined with plastic plates or lining. A concrete base or a solid suspended ceiling is the best option for ceiling mounting.
