In modern construction, many new innovative materials are used to build buildings and structures. Recently, more and more often you can see the buildings, for the construction of which used Brosolite - a relatively new, but already loved by many material. Hollow briolite blocks are increasingly replacing brick and wood, thanks to the possibility of erecting houses from them in the shortest possible time.

Origin

It is believed that Brizolit( Brisolit) was released for the first time at the end of the last century in Switzerland. However, even in 1934 in Germany, a patent was registered for the production of building stones from a mixture of materials: cement, wood chips, mineral additives. Today, Brosolit received a deserved worldwide recognition. It is actively used in the construction of houses in Canada, the United States, Scandinavian countries - there were in demand heat insulation properties of briolite blocks. In Italy, France, Portugal, green building materials are laid out wine cellars. High sound insulation characteristics and relatively affordable price have become the reason for the success of the blocks in Eastern Europe. Today, the Bryolite blocks are used in construction and in our country.

Manufacturing technology

Briololite is a part of the group "natural building materials", as in the manufacture of blocks a mixture of the following composition is used: cement - up to 15%, wood chips( coniferous trees) - up to 80% and stabilizing additives - about 5%.This mixture is subjected to forming under the influence of the press, resulting in equal-sized, hollow inside blocks - "semi-finished products".To ensure that the blocks "got" the necessary characteristics, they are left on the technological pallets for seven days, carefully monitoring the humidity and temperature indexes. Such a technology, as it were, "preserves" wood chips, ensuring the preservation of all properties of natural wood, and the presence of cement and the effect of pressing endows this material with all the necessary characteristics required for materials used to lay out structural elements of buildings. Thanks to the careful milling of each block, their surfaces become perfectly smooth and even. During the milling, the foam inserts are pressed into the blocks to ensure their necessary heat resistance. After that, the blocks of briolite blocks are left on the technological pallets for another two to three weeks to give them final operational qualities.

Often, blocks from Bizonolite are compared with TwinBlock, however, these two types of materials can not be identified. Briololite is produced from natural ecological chips, cement and additives by vibration compacting, and Twinblock is a kind of cellular autoclaved concrete with a composition of lime, cement, water and aluminum powder. As a consequence, different production technologies, as well as excellent in origin materials, cause fundamentally different properties of the above blocks.

Dimensions and weight

In size it is divided into 6 types:

  • 1Р - ordinary( 1000х380х250 mm);
  • 4Р - ordinary( 500х365х250 mm);
  • 2У - angular( 880х380х250 mm);
  • 5У - angular( 500х365х250 mm);
  • 3P - parting( 1000х180х250 mm);
  • 6PG - septum groove( 500x100x250 mm).

The weight of Bryolite can be from 8( groove-groove partition) to 21 kg( ordinary block with a heater), depending on the type. This building material can be as hollow( without a heater), and with a heater.

Specifications of Bazolite

Depending on the type of unit and the manufacturer, the characteristics can be as follows:

  • high strength: 21.6 kg / cm²( class B1) - according to this parameter Bryololite is not inferior to the Twinblock, but loses to ceramic brick;
  • density: 341 kg / m³( ordinary block with a heater of 1000х380х250), for blocks of other sizes this indicator can vary;
  • thermal conductivity: 0.1-0.22 W / m · ° C;
  • frost resistance: F25;
  • water absorption: 10%;
  • vapor permeability: 0.11 mg /( m · h · Pa);
  • sound permeability: 126-2000 Hz - this indicator only slightly loses the same characteristic of wood.

Standards of state standardization( GOST) have not yet been developed for these blocks. Producers of this variety of wall blocks are guided by their manufacture developed by "their" products technical specifications( TU).As a consequence, the weight and size of blocks of briolite from different manufacturers may vary.

Properties of Blocks of Brizolite

  • Easy installation of and no need for complex equipment. This provides extremely short deadlines for the erection of buildings. In particular, two or three workers with an average qualification for the construction of a cottage with an area of 200 square meters from the Blizzole blocks will need a maximum of two weeks. When the building is erected, the blocks are leveled out and connected to each other with cement mortar, or the joints between them can be connected by means of reinforcement and concrete mix, which allows to reduce the construction time several times( for the laying of the bearing walls it takes quite a few days).
  • Easy to assemble .Building a building of blocks of Bryololite is comparable with the layout of children's cubes: some of the blocks are generally put dry, which protects the building from shrinkage. It is enough to pour the concrete cavity with the internal cavities of the blocks to form a monolithic frame of the house.
  • Environmentally friendly .Since this building material is manufactured exclusively from natural, natural materials, it is absolutely safe for human health. The use of natural components ensures the non-waste production of this building material. The blocks themselves, if necessary, are easily processed.
  • Excellent sound insulation performance .The use of blocks of Briisolite, characterized by excellent sound insulation, provides a comfortable living habitation of the houses from this material. Also, Bronzolite is used in many areas where the soundproofing properties of materials are given top priority.
  • Ease of finishing .The use of a briolite block for laying out the structures of a building allows for the finishing of its facade with the use of almost any materials: siding panels or facing bricks. Interior trim of the load-bearing elements can be made using plasterboard or plaster. Due to the compliance of the material, it is easily processed with a conventional saw, which makes it possible to give the desired shape of the structure.
  • Flameproof .Since the breezolite block is classified as a flame retardant material, its burning virtually eliminates smoke. According to the test results, the blocks do not burn in the forge horn, they do not allow the open flame to spread, they do not emit toxic gases during burning.
  • High wear resistance and strength .It is established that the service life of buildings made of briolite blocks is at least a hundred years( if the technology of their production is observed, and the installation itself is carried out correctly).
  • Excellent frost resistance .Buildings from the Blocks of Briocolite are now being built even in the northern regions( in the conditions of the Far North).
  • Good vapor permeability of .Bryolite is considered a "breathing" material. Due to its porous structure, it maintains a stable moisture and proper air circulation, excluding the development and reproduction of microorganisms and bacteria.
  • The average weight of the blocks is 10 - 20 kg , so they do not overload the foundation of the house and provide high strength characteristics of the building itself.
  • Possibility of arrangement of wiring for sewer, heating pipes, electric cable directly in the blocks( before pouring with concrete).

Application of

Blocks of Bryolite have proven themselves as a material for laying load-bearing structures of low-rise buildings, as well as internal walls. Today, this material is actively used in private housing construction, in the construction of storage facilities, garages. It is often used to equip noise-protecting structures along autobahns, railways. In metrostroi, this kind of blocks is successfully used, due to its high soundproofness.

Advantages of

Advantages of bromolite blocks are obvious. This is the ease of installation, and the lack of the need to lease heavy lifting equipment, and the possibility of finishing a variety of materials. Having thoroughly studied photos, video materials, as well as feedback from builders and users, you can be sure that the use of such units provides significant energy savings for measures for heating, air conditioning, and ventilation of buildings. The ability to "hide" in communication blocks is also a weighty "plus".It is worth noting the high strength of buildings. It is established that houses made of this material have excellent seismic stability. As already mentioned above, Bryololite is characterized by good fire safety, sound insulation, environmental friendliness, etc.

Disadvantages of

The shortcomings of Bizonolite can be attributed to its relatively high price. Also worth noting is the possible poor air circulation, arising from the use of finishing materials of poor quality.
