- rough processing consisting of leveling the coating, removing stains and marks from the legs and old dirt, removing old varnish, etc.;
- fine sanding and preparation for new coating.

In the conditions of small rooms or domestic work, a hand-held sewing machine is quite suitable. The sewing machine can be designed for different times of continuous operation, so different models will have different capacities. According to the supply voltage, household models are rated at 220 V, while professional ones can require an industrial power supply of 380 V.
For practical application and performance of flooring works from parquet, it is best to have a kit that includes a cogging machine and a manual grinding machine. The latter is convenient to use for work in places where it is difficult to reach the station. While doing this, it is necessary to observe the accuracy in the work, so that the sections do not differ in the purity of the treatment.
As already mentioned, the numbers of abrasive skins should be at least four - from the fortieth to one hundred and twentieth. The amount of abrasive skin is taken from the calculation of one set for every twenty meters of area. To cut the grinding wheels or tape, you will need scissors, a pencil, a minimum set of tools( a screwdriver, pliers, etc.).
