Special plastic boxes for the storage of power and low current conductors are sold in the building materials market. Wires are most often made with a rectangular cross-section, less often - convex. They can be mounted on almost any surface, even on finishing materials.
The length of such boxes - from one and a half meters to two, but of them it is easy to make a longer trough. And if you need shorter - the material is rather soft, you can very easily cut off excess length. Depending on the size of the wire and the box, you can put a different number of cables inside. Plastic boxes are usually attached to the wall using self-tapping screws.
If the material of furnish allows, use glue - so it is easier and more economical. You can find even self-adhesive boxes, just remove the protective layer from the adhesive tape and attach the box to anywhere, and then after it. It is worth noting that the box is still quite noticeable on the wall.
Use the available grooves.
If there is no possibility or desire to use an external plastic box, and the wiring should be carried out in a room, with tiles or any other trim that leaves natural gaps, then why invent something? After all, you can use these gaps. It is enough to take wires with a thin section up to two millimeters( only carefully calculate the load of power).Thoroughly clean the mortar grooves between the tiles and cut the groove to a depth of one centimeter by the bulgarian. Apply tile glue to the resulting slit, then lay the wire inside and mask it with a trowel.
Convenience of using drywall.
If the wall consists of plasterboard, or simply covered with a trim made of this material, it is necessary to make a long rod, preferably from a thick aluminum wire. This rod can serve as a broach: with its help it is necessary to stretch the cable or wire behind the plasterboard on the wall or ceiling( the suspended ceiling is most often made of this material).
Next, you can finish the outer surface with any necessary materials, and the wires will remain there hidden and you will not see them. If the walls of concrete or brick - the work is complicated by the trickery in the wall of a special gutter, after which the wire hidden there is smeared with plaster or cement mortar.

TV and telephone cables can be conveniently removed from the baseboard. If the plinth is adhered during repair - then the cable should be laid in advance, before applying the glue. So that he does not jump out, you can nail it to the floor or wall, and then apply glue and apply a plinth. If the plinth on the screws - just loosen them, lay the cable and tighten it again.
