Many original design solutions can be made with your own hands. They not only add a touch to the bathroom interior, but also are very practical to use.

1. Mat of shingle
This rug of river stones also has a massage effect for the feet. Stones can be absolutely any, but preferably round and flat, so it will be easier to attach them. You can buy decorative stones in the store or independently collect on the banks of the river or the sea. In the latter case, the rug will become a pleasant reminder of the rest.
For work you will need:
- rubber or plastic rug with holes( so that water flows down between the stones, but does not accumulate under them);
- silicone adhesive or hot gun.
First, the stones are laid on the mat to choose the optimal location. If the stones are of different colors, you can lay out the picture in the form of a mosaic. After that, each stone is individually glued to the carpet in its place. Once the glue dries, you can lay the rug on the floor in the bathroom.

2. Shelves from baskets
Conventional woven baskets can turn into excellent shelves. If they are turned over, the side walls will act like shelves. You can store in them towels, jars and stuff. Fastened to the wall on nails, screws or glue, depending on the finishing material of the bathroom.
Alternatively, special tabs can be attached to the basket. Thus, it can be broadcast on the wall as a shelf, and if necessary, removed and used as a container.
You can use the shelves for spices instead of baskets. The same function can be performed by lightweight wooden boxes.

3. The cornice is not superfluous
Install another cornice at the bathroom wall. On it you can hang up loofers, brushes, children's toys and rubber mats. On the one hand, there is an additional storage space, on the other hand it will allow them to dry out well.

4. Glass jars for storing small items
Conventional small glass jars, for example, from mayonnaise or tomato paste, can be used to store cotton buds or balls, pins, ornaments and all sorts of trivia.
There are two ways to organize storage with cans.
In the first case, a wooden block is attached to the wall, to which the clamps are attached using self-tapping screws. Banks are inserted in these collars. Covers do not need to be used, but with them the contents will not accumulate. The lids themselves can be decorated with stickers, rhinestones, beads or simply dyed in one color.
In the second version, you need jars on twisting lids. If there are wooden lockers or shelves, then the lid of the jars on the glue or liquid nails is attached to the bottom of them. To attach the jar to the contents, it simply needs to be screwed into the lid like a light bulb.
5. Decorative ladder
A light metal or wooden ladder can be used as a hanger for towels or clothes. Unlike nails, it does not damage the walls, it does not fall like hooks on scotch tape or suckers, while it can be rearranged or completely removed from the bathroom.
If the steps of the ladder are flat and wide, then they can additionally be used as shelves for storage.
6. Original mirror design
Ordinary decoration of a mirror surface or a frame can dramatically transform both the mirror itself and the entire bathroom as a whole. For example, the frame can be repainted in the colors of the room, decorated with rhinestones, beads, decorative pebbles, shells, rope, etc.
If your bathroom is decorated with a homemade stone rug, you can also decorate the mirror frame with the same pebbles. All decorative elements are attached to ordinary glue.
If the mirror without a frame, then at its edges through the stencil can be painted with a paint. It can be miniature images of plants, marine animals, beautiful ornament or geometric shapes. The pattern may have something in common with the overall design of the bathroom, the wallpaper design, the textiles, or simply harmonize in color. 7. Bathing outside

8. Original curtain
Sometimes it is enough to change the curtain to transform the whole design of the bathroom.
The curtain can be made in the original form, for example simulating a window curtain or having flounces, ruffles and even slits.

10. Wild flowers
