How is the installation of the door linings

? Let's consider the process of installing door plates using the example of MDF.To accomplish this task, the following tools and materials are required:

Before starting the installation, you need to think about the fact that the door will become much thicker with the overlays and this will lead to the inevitable replacement of locks and handles.

The process of installing overlays consists of several stages:

• preparatory work. As preparation for installation, it is necessary to clean and degrease the surface of the door to which the panels will be fastened. It is also necessary to paint it or wrap it with vinyl film. All these actions have a positive effect on the coupling of the door and the lining;
• after that, you can begin installing the linings on the door. To fix them with self-tapping screws, you need to drill holes around the entire perimeter of the canvas approximately ten centimeters apart.
