Types of skeleton pools for villas
Prefabricated pools are represented by three main types of construction. There are:
- seasonal;
- frost-resistant( they are also called all-season);
- stationary.
Seasonal frame pools
As it follows from the name, seasonal pools are collected in the warm season, and after the onset of cold weather, they are dismantled and put in a specially designated place. The structure of this reservoir is represented by a set of hollow tubes, fasteners and a bag of three layers of polyvinyl chloride with a reinforcement of polyester mesh.
Such pools are strong enough, but they are designed mainly for children under 12 years and the amount of water up to 7 tons. If the model is designed for a larger volume of water, the walls of the basin are additionally strengthened from the outside by strips of galvanized steel, surrounding the structure.
Seasonal ponds can be of different shapes: round, oval, rectangular or more complex. The service life varies in the range of 5-7 years, and the cost is directly dependent on the firm and model. For example, on the basin 5,5х2,74х1,32 m and the amount of water 17 tons will have to spend about 40 thousand rubles.
All-season frame pools
Frost resistant models in their design resemble seasonal reservoirs equipped with a metal rim, with the only difference that the frame here is significantly strengthened and the metal wall is covered with polymer paint. Such a design is able to withstand the pressure of frozen water with proper preservation.
The shape of the frost-resistant pool is less diverse - they are in the form of a circle or an oval. The height is almost always equal to 1.2-1.5 m, but if you want to purchase a pond in which to dive, the only swimming pools with such a structure that have a height of 2 meters, makes the German manufacturer Krulland.
As for the price of all-season prefab pools, it is slightly higher than the seasonal ones. But considering the advantages in operation and twice the longer service life( 10-15 years), in fact this pool will be cheaper. A 20-ton model 4.6 meters in diameter and 1.2 meters in height will cost the buyer 45 thousand rubles.
Stationary frame pools
It is clear that stationary models are much more reliable relative to their collapsible counterparts. Coupling of the structure from the panels occurs only once, combining the locking joint, glue and bolts, and after assembly all the seams are carefully sealed. Panels consist of a layered connection of several materials. Use steel, duralumin, plastic and wood. Moreover, the latter is treated with special impregnations for maximum protection against moisture. A polyvinyl chloride bag is placed in the bowl.
It is not possible to disassemble the entire structure so that it can be assembled again without affecting the performance properties.
The service life of a stationary collection reservoir exceeds 15 years. Such models can have the greatest depth among the frame structures - up to 2.4 meters - and have depth fluctuations in one basin.
As for the price, it is very high: the cost of installing a stationary frame pool is equal to the cost of the same size concrete.
Installing a frame pool at the dacha
Installing a stationary pool will require knowledge, skills and skill. Even with the account that when you buy a set, you get the assembly instruction, it's better to entrust this matter to specialists: there are too many subtleties to be taken into account, but there will not be a second chance.
At the same time, seasonal and all-season options can be mounted manually. We will analyze step by step how installation of a frame pool on a summer residence is carried out.
- Step 1. We need to find a place. This should be an even area more than the size of the pool, so that you can build a platform. It is desirable, open, so that leaves, branches and other debris do not pour into the water.
- Step 2. Bring the communication. For a seasonal pool, this item is mandatory, because you need to think in advance how, after the onset of cold weather, you will drain whole tons of water. If you can collect a pool from a hose, then it is best to drain a ton of water into a pre-installed sewage system.
- Step 3. According to the instruction, assemble the frame from the tubes and connecting elements. Make sure that they hold securely and do not fall off under the pressure of water.
- Step 4. Place a polyvinyl chloride bag in the bowl. Ensure its integrity. Fasten it.
- Step 5. Clean the entire inner surface of the bag from dust, dirt and debris.
- Step 6. Connect the filter, which should come complete with the pool, according to the instructions.
- Step 7. Try filling the pool. If you did not find any problems when pouring water, enjoy the rest!
