When one of the methods described above eliminated the previous materials, proceed to leveling the walls with plaster. An alternative option is fixing sheets of plasterboard. When it is used, the old wallpaper is not removed, the plasterboard is fixed directly over the finish.

When the ceiling is chosen for paint or whitewash, with the work really to manage their own hands. The composition is applied to the prepared surface with a brush or spray. It is recommended to cover the ceiling with several layers of paint to avoid the appearance of gaps. Among other available options for decoration - a wallpaper or slabs of foam.

After the dismantling of old coatings, but before the beginning of pasting the walls perform floor repairs. First, renew the screed, then on the aligned base lay the selected coating: linoleum, parquet or tile.
