Functional
This device measures:
- resistance in the grounding structure using 2, 3 and 4 wire systems;
- electrical resistance in metal connections (metal bond) with electric current over 200 mA;
- distillation current having a frequency of 50 Hz (with a complete set of clamps KTI-10).
Besides:
- stability in shielding wires is determined;
- the ability of the soil to conduct electric current (Ohm / m) is calculated;
- effectively assesses the position of a separate conductive part in multi-element grounding. Here the organization of electricity between components is determined without breaking the circuit without a ground electrode.
Equipment specifics
Resistance measurements are carried out by means of a pulsating stabilization current, which has a stable frequency of 128 Hz. At the same time, the influence of an extraneous electric power production plant is excluded. To improve the accuracy of measurements, the Radio Service IS-10 can be calibrated, while taking into account the own resistance of the conductors. If it is not possible to keep a log of the results, they are documented in the instrument's memory.
Transportation and safety of the Radio Service IS-10 is safe, as there is a safety sliding console that protects the adjustment keys and the LCD screen when the unit is in idle mode
