If there are no skills in working with brickwork, then the options for erecting a bath of brick, wall blocks immediately disappear. And there is one affordable and relatively simple option, namely - wooden bath .
Now it is also necessary to decide which bathhouse to build, whether it will be a two-storey bathhouse made of timber or a usual one-story version. And also you need to choose the type of wood. Most often for these purposes on the territory of the Russian Federation, wood of coniferous and deciduous species is used: pine, larch, cedar, etc.
Unfortunately, wooden structures are subject to shrinkage, which can affect the shape and geometry of the beam and, as a result, the appearance of cracks. Many try to avoid this by covering the buildings with a facade board, siding, etc., but in the final light, this only leads to the fact that the tree begins to poorly "breathe", grows damp, molds and rot.

How to build a sauna from the timber - the first steps of the
When all organizational issues have been resolved, a building permit has been obtained and the bath project has been selected, one can proceed directly to the construction itself. How to build a sauna from a bar? First of all, it is necessary to prepare the foundation for such a bath.
Optimal types of foundation for this structure are considered either tape or columnar. Which foundation to choose depends on the type of soil in the land, the material of the walls, the financial possibilities, etc. Saunas from a bar two-storeyed are better for building on the ribbon foundation, and one-storeyed ones - on columnar.
When the foundation is poured and the concrete has gained its design strength( approximately 28 days), it is possible to proceed with the construction of the frame. But first it is necessary to carry out waterproofing between the first( embedded) beam and the foundation, and also to carry out manual sorting of the bar.
For the of the first( embedded) crown , the bars with a section of 200x200 mm are taken, they are made with end cuts, which are necessary for the further joining of all the bars together. These fittings have a different configuration. Before making these cuttings, in order for them to be the same, it is necessary to mark on the beams, and only after that start cutting the cut with a chainsaw.
For the laying of the embedded beam, thin slats( about 15 mm thick and pretreated with antiseptic) are taken, they are fixed with a step of 30 cm on the foundation surface. This is done with the help of metal pins or wooden nagels through unloading holes, the diameter of which is equal to the diameter of the nagel. The same system also produces the third and subsequent rows of logs. Among other things, if we build a bath from a bar, we should not forget about window and door openings. There are two options for arranging these openings:
- installation of the window and door frame after the construction of the entire frame;
- installation of these boxes simultaneously with the construction of the log house.
The first option is preferable, becauseThe finished frame must stand, the sealer is even more compressed, and the bar itself is to give a shrinkage. After the frame "overwinteres"( about 7 months), it will shrink by 7-11 cm, and if the window and door frames are installed in it, the shrinkage may be uneven, and all these blocks will seriously skew.
The frame is ready, boards are laid on top of it with a thickness of approximately 50 mm, the entire structure is covered with roofing material and remains "wintering".
