Assembly of the kitchen chair

First measurements are made, after which it is necessary to make a project, to develop the chair drawings( examples are shown below).

Wooden chair with its own hands can be made of beech, pine, oak. Wood is selected without knots and cracks. Beech and oak can be sanded, which will provide an excellent view of the chair.

Wood can easily be prepared independently, for this purpose it is necessary to remove the chips from the timber and treat it first with coarse-grained sandpaper and then fine-grained.

Dimensions of parts

This is to ensure that the wood is smooth.

To manufacture or repair a kitchen chair, you will need tools such as:

  • construction stapler;
  • saw;
  • mallet;
  • electric jigsaw;
  • plane.

Below we will look at how to make a chair and repair it.

The assembly of the new product and the repair of the old one are of the same order. Only if the repair is done, the chair is first disassembled. A worn part is replaced with a new one. Then the repair continues with the assembly of the elements.

For preparation, you first need to prepare four bars: two 40x60 mm, 80 cm length - for the rear legs and two 40х40 mm, length 44 cm - for the front ones.

In these bars holes are made for the longitudinal and transverse bases and the footpegs. Elements are required to be stacked on top of each other, the ends should coincide, as in the photo.

Now pencil on adjacent legs chisel is marked by 2 notches 20x40 mm in size. The rear legs need to be cleaned, the sides are contoured with a gradual transition from 6 to 4 cm.

Further, 2 footsteps and 2 longitudinal rails are made. For this purpose, on the 4 bars of 350x40x40 mm, there are spikes of 11 mm at each end, which are cut by a chisel.

Now, from two 40x40 mm bars 420 mm long, transverse bases are made with spikes similar to the spines of the longitudinal base.

The next stage is the production of a backboard 420 mm long and 8-10 cm wide. For this it is recommended to take the edging board.

On the inside of the back wall, you need to make grooves equal to the thickness and height of the backrest. In the grooves you need to have a back. Next, the seat must be fixed with screws.

You can attach small braces to increase stiffness of the stool. The legs and back should be rounded from the outside.

The finished substrate must be varnished, polished and left to dry completely.

If repair is carried out, all joints are glued with glue.

Cover with varnish in a ventilated area. Or buy an odorless coating that is safer for health.

Video:

If the wood is uneven and uneven in color, then it is necessary to cover the chair with varnish of dark color.

Now it is necessary to make a seat for which the foam of the necessary size is cut out, so that the seat is soft, and wrap the foam in a durable fabric. The fabric needs to be secured with a stapler.

If the old chair is being repaired, the product can be lined with a cloth, like a cover.

After complete drying of the substrate, all the elements must be collected. Spikes are treated with glue and are driven into the recess by the kyanite. Finally, the seat and back are screwed with screws.

Screws can be hidden. To do this, from the sawdust and glue PVA you need to prepare a thick mixture and apply it to the hat and leave until completely dry.

Then the camouflaged hats need to be varnished, after which they will become almost invisible. Repair of the chair must be finished with varnish.

The table is made as follows: several boards are knocked down and installed on the stump - this will be the lid. The table from the log must be carefully ground.

Then the logs must be sawn to the same deck, 60 cm high. Decks are digged into the ground, surrounding the table. It remains to do only the frame of the chair and the seat.

Assembly of the folding chair

The complexity of making a chair is to prepare parts, such as:

  • 4 legs from a bar 470x40x20 mm;
  • 4 straps for the seat 320x40x20 mm;
  • 2 footsteps 320x40x20 mm;Seat bar for
  • : 2 pcs.350х90х20 mm, 2 pcs.- 350x60x20 mm.

First, the axle bolts are installed on the legs. The axis must be moved upwards so that it is located below the wide beams of the seat by 2 cm, otherwise the product will be unstable.

Then the crossbeams of the seat must be bolted: first - to the inner legs, and then - to the outer legs. It turns out 2 hinged parts that need to be connected.

First, the seat straps are fixed to the free ends of the crossbeams. From the bottom of the legs at a distance of 10 cm fasteners are attached self-tapping screws.

The middle bars should not be connected to each other so that the chair can fold. One bar is installed on the outer bar, the second - on the inner bar.

If you insert a 20x20 mm beam between the middle bars of the seat, this will allow you to adjust the height of the seat. A visually folding chair for a dacha is presented in the photo above.

Foldable version with backrest

The next option for giving or fishing is a folding chair with a backrest.

Parts are prepared:

  • with 2 legs 90 cm long and 55 cm long;
  • on 2 cross-section bars 400х50 mm, 340х50 mm, 280х50 mm;
  • backrest 400x70 mm;
  • 2 seat supports with a length of 290 mm;
  • 6 seat boards 340x40 mm.

First you need to lay out 6 boards at a distance of 10 mm, and on top place the supports with a step of 34 cm on the last board and 28 cm on the first one.

With a pencil, you should mark the boundaries of the slats, then the structure is turned over and the support and seat are fastened with screws.

Then, between the 5th and 6th board in the support bar, the notches for the rod are made, and under the second board for the short legs.

Chair with back

Outside, a notch for the bolt is made at the bottom of the long legs, and grooves for the ends of the rod are on the inside. On top of the dredging for dowels.

The dowels must be threaded perpendicularly between the posts, with rod clamping. On the dowels a cross bar with a length of 34 cm is fixed. A 40 cm long crossbar is fixed with screws.

In the middle of the short pillars, a hole is made to connect to the long pillars, and from above there is a hole for securing the seat.

Transverse bars with a length of 28 cm are fixed on the dowels in two places: from below and slightly above the center.

Now you just need to assemble the elements: short legs are connected to the seat and long legs with bolts. Folding chair for own dacha is ready.

For a plywood seat, 5 cross rails and 2Reaming-bases, which are processed and fastened together. Stepping back 5 cm from the edge, the lines for grooves are marked on both sides.

Then the cross bars are fixed on the rail-bases. The joints of the elements for the chair from plywood are greased with glue.

The support part is made of 5 racks. Connect the strips with dowels. At the ends of the rods holes are made, the same holes are needed in the rivers-racks.

Joints are glued. This design represents the back of the chair.

Now a bowstring and steps are made from plywood with a width of 44 cm.

In the photo is a drawing of a ladder chair.
