3. Strip the door surface with an emery or grinder.
4. Treat affected area by degreasing with solvent.
5. Align deformed areas using special car putties.
6. Sand the correct place. Strive to get the ideal plane.
7. Apply a coat of aerosol primer.
8. It's time for primary painting.
9. If the paint is uneven, grind the irregularities.
10. Now paint again.
11. Allow the paint to dry.
12. Replace the handle, seal, etc.

At the root of this problem is usually an attempt to save on the purchase of products of questionable quality. Such fittings quickly fail. What can I do? Replace the damaged part with a new one, paying more attention to quality.

Before proceeding with the restoration of the exterior decorative coating, an assessment of the degree of damage should be made. And, already relying on the conclusions drawn, it is possible to decide whether a complete or partial repair should be done. Sometimes, it's easier and cheaper to simply remove the spoiled coating and trim the door leaf anew. What options are there?

1. Painting. The simplest version, but not very popular today, in view of the appearance of new more aesthetic finishing methods.
2. Decorating of vinyl skins. Quite inexpensive and, at the same time, a beautiful view of the decor. Thanks to the availability of a wide range of textures and color solutions, this material has become quite popular among people with an average level of prosperity. The advantage of this finish can be considered an additional sound and thermal insulation, which provides a foam layer between the metal sheet and the coating. Less is the insufficient strength of the vinylskis. If there is a cat in the house who loves to thread claws, then this finish will not work for you.
3. Laminate flooring. This finish is much stronger than the previous one, but slightly more expensive. Such a door is easy to clean and has a presentable appearance, thanks to a texture that mimics a natural tree. The variety of the material presented in the sale makes it possible to make the door an element of decor that harmonizes with the surrounding interior.
4. Application of powder coating. This coating is resistant to mechanical damage, corrosive and atmospheric influences. True, it is impossible to repair such metal doors( or, rather, cover them) with their own hands. The surface with the sprayed polymer and metallic powder is subjected to heat treatment under special conditions. A protective layer is obtained from the molten powder.

5. Sheathing with MDF plates. This is one of the expensive ways to finish the doors, giving, however, an excellent result. You get an environmentally friendly, durable, wear-resistant coating, which is very easy to take care of. And the door looks great.
6. Wood decoration. This type of decoration is very expensive, most often found in elite mansions. After all, doors with a coating of solid wood, decorated with carvings, should be the logical continuation of the luxurious decoration of the whole house.

In case of such a situation, nothing is better than a replacement of the failed mechanism. Cheap locks have a short lifespan, jam when used and often break. Not bad proved to be the locking systems with which the Outpost doors are completed, so if repair is started, do not save.

If the lock just loosened, then this indicates the broken holes, into which the screws are screwed.

1. Remove the screws.
2. In the holes, place small wooden pieces( you can match).
3. Screw the screws again.

A fairly common case. Algorithm for its elimination:

1. Raise the door leaf a little.
2. Lubricate the hinges with machine oil. You can also eliminate this problem by putting in a loop gap a piece of a pencil rod( graphite).
3. Spread the grease evenly over the surfaces in contact. To do this, open and close the doors a couple of times.
4. Return the door to its original position.
