Of course, construction of the dome house is far from being such a simple activity as it can go for the uninitiated, but nobody prevents you from developing your own project and to build a domed house by yourself .We want to tell you about the construction, conducted by a group of French architects and designers in New Zealand, whose goal was to build not just an environmentally friendly house of a new generation, but also to build it for centuries. And according to the French, -like domed house can stand without major repairs for more than 50 years.
The foundation for this dome house was a box, laid out of foam concrete, with the communications carried out in it.
During the construction, it was reinforced with iron ties, after which the whole construction was flooded with cement, which not only gave it additional strength, but also allowed the foundation to be smaller than the house itself, which it should support.
The basis of the entire construction of the domed house was a steel ring.
Attached to the foundation by means of bolts, it was the main and only connecting element for the C-shaped beams from which the central support for the roof was assembled, as well as the lateral edges of future walls fixed with the help of the most ordinary riveting.
When the framework acquired its final features, the builders proceeded to cover the house with internal walls, having covered the entire structure with film in case of unforeseen rain.
A similar step was of great importance, since the house was assembled exclusively from natural materials, and the penetration of moisture in them could lead to disastrous consequences.
At the same time, holes for future windows were marked and allocated.
After the completion of the assembly of internal walls, the entire space between the beams was filled with basalt wool. Having a natural origin, it is not only absolutely safe for human health, but it is also an excellent thermal insulator without the term of the terminated service.
The same for external walls served as OSB sheets, coated at the end of their installation with a water repellent and antibacterial solution.
That they lasted longer, the walls of the house were trimmed with bituminous tiles, and the roof - with copper sheets.
After that, it only remains that to begin internal work - lay the floor, put the ladder and equip the second floor, which is the children's room and bedroom.
Well, the center of the house was a fireplace hanging in the center of the main pillar, and became a symbol of the heart of the house, which, as it turned out, has one small secret:
At the request of customers, special, hidden in the foundations of mechanisms, will rotate your domed house around the axis, changing its position depending on your desires!
